This is the best Chinese food I’ve eaten so far! And that is saying something cause I love Chinese cuisine and have been to a lot of chinese restaurants.

An amazing spicy little restaurant that you can miss if you don’t look! The food was THE best Chinese food I have had in Orlando! We decided to order things we never seen on a Chinese menu before (aka not your run of the kill dishes). Chengdu did not disappoint. We ended up having the pork dumplings, baby squid in chill sauce (cold dish) and slow cooked pork belly! (Probably the one of the best pork belly I have had). We also got the side of rice since we were more curious about the dishes. Amazing food we will be back. And if your too far from this location try their Baldwin park location next to the Publix.

This is my new favorite restaurant. The food is excellent. Very flavorful and it comes out quickly. The waitress was very friendly. She was happy to speak Chinese with us so we could practice. We will be going back for sure!

Wonderful food experience. All the dishes came put promptly, service a d ordering was prompt. The flavors though, so much flavor!! If you’re a Sichuan fan, thus is the place to go in Orlando. Strongly recommend the Chendu chicken, maps tofu, wonton, dumplings, spareribs. Actually, I’m sure all their dishes are good! Huge selection of foods! Service was great, kitchen and facility was clean. I wish I had one of these where I love, I’d eat here everyday.

Went in earlier on Valentines Day, don’t want to wait in case overcrowded. We had a few take-out at this place before. Green Sichuan Peppercorn Fish Fillet is our favorite, even it numbs your lips on the very first bite, we still love the flavor.

While the taste was passable, it was not the best representation of authentic Sichuan cuisine. For a price range of $20-$30 per person, the portion sizes were disappointingly small, leaving our party unsatisfied. Unfortunately, I experienced digestive issues after dining there. Though the suggested gratuity starts at 18%, the service we received was subpar. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place. Orlando offers a plethora of better Chinese food options.

Always enjoy eating at Taste of Chengdu, I like the complexity of favors from Chengdu dishes, their aromatic combine with spices can make me eat multiple bowls of rice with my meal. Each entree come with only one bowl of rice and if you wanted another bowl it’s $2 per bowl. Next I am going to write about was their sweet and sour ribs which I normally didn’t order but wanted to try it today. It tasted good and authentic, but the price of it is pretty steep $18 for 8-10 pieces of small bite size ribs. If you decided to go there don’t order it as it does seem like a rip off. But their fish dry wok dish was pretty great with Szechuan pepper corn and dried chilies. It was $24 it was cooked with complexities of flavor and it was worth it, it was my go to every time we decided to go there.

Really good, authentic Sichuan cuisine that numbs your mouth. The mapo tofu and dan dan noodles are dishes that I always get when I come here.
