Saw the sign “Soul Food “ , so I had to try, had the Catfish Dinner and two sides, the catfish was seasoned just and fried right, the sides were not great but ok, the red beans and rice needed more flavor and the collard greens looked like spinach and tasted off. But overall will try again.

Just purchased a half a pound corn beef sandwich for $10.95 plus tax and this place should be a shame of themselves for giving me a bread sandwich with cheese! There was only a couple of slices of meat on it. I tried calling to complain but it goes to a voice message that’s full so you can’t leave a message! Charging people this much for a sandwich with nothing on it is a shame. Please avoid this place by any means!!

I saw their post on Facebook and decided to try them out. Very disappointed I ordered the Turkey wing dinner with my sides greens and dressing asked for cranberry sauce. Once got to window no Turkey wings so I ordered smothered pork chops instead. Firstly they gave me a plate full of salty gravy meat no where to be found in gravy my sides of dressing looks like brown mashed potatoes with no cranberry sauce I asked for twice and the greens taste like they came out of a can . Waste of money there is nothing soul food about my food 20 bucks wasted. I will not be going back .

I love soul food, and of course I have my go to. So when the opportunity to try some place new I jump on it. I have to say a deli/soul food spot does excite the palate! I ordered the turkey meatloaf with the greens and mac & cheese and sm dressing( for safe measure). 1.the door was locked upon arrival 11:50am luckily they have a drive thru! But now I gotta remember what specials are for lunch. 2 I have no problem paying for quality but for 24.72 I got an ice cream scoop of sides and one slice of meatloaf and let me tell you I was unimpressed so I figured that the sweet potato pie would be the redeeming factor here and boy was I wrong!! What little portions I did have I didn’t finish! I’m hoping when I go back to try the deli side that I won’t be so disappointed(i mean how do u mess up a sandwich) we’ll see fingers crossed!!

so delicious. we got the bbq chicken, rib tips, collared greens, peach cobbler, mac, and sweet potatoes. all of it was great. fair prices, great portions, and very nice staff. the peach cobbler was SO good.
