I love their chips and salsa and the service is amazing the lady who served me made by day. I am vegetarian. I tried veg enchiladas they were good but I tried some other dishes n it was just lettuce and beans and cheese so didn’t enjoy it a lot. The drinks are amazing the mango chamoya is really good. Overall amazing experience.

I would not recommend this location. I came in with a large party and yes it was last minute but then I was charged multiple times.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Fenix, and I must say that it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome.

Our server was Vincent was efficient knowledgeable and so nice. The manager came over and talked to us about how things were and she was so nice. The food was amazing. So tasty and it came very quickly. We will definitely go back

This is a great place to eat. The only reason it didn’t get four stars is because part of my dinner was over-done. The tamale, which was covered with sauce, had a firmness to it that indicated that it wasn’t fresh.

Love seasoned chicken nachos and cheese enchiladas. Love their food for the last 50+ years. We have celebrated many important events there. Surprise they serve great lemon icebox pie!

Normally, this would be a 5 rating. The food is always good and the service excellent. My problem though cannot go without mention. This el fenix has had a problem with the dinners coming out on a very very hot plate. This time it was a scortcher. Th his is not necessary. The young man warned of the hot plate and boy it was. My wife and i, 10 minutes into our meal, had to litterally blow on our food then chase each bite with ice tea. It was so hot that i burned the roof of my mouth on my 4th or 5th bite. This is uncalled for. 15 minutes in its still too hot in the center of the plate. I will for sure rell this to my next server.

I’ve been eating at this location forever….. the Wednesday special was a monthly outing. But things have changed since El Chico bought them. The queso, salsa and even the cheese enchiladas each tasted a little off. They’re cutting corners on the ingredients clearly. I will NOT be going back! It’s still decent, but NOT up to its previous quality.
