After the procedure I was on light bedrest for the next 24 hours so we decided to grab take out from this place and go back to our hotel! Service is fast, prices are good, food is Excellent! Full plates are $10 to $12. Large portions. Friendly staff. They have plenty of seating – 4 person comfortable booths if you want to eat in. We do Call In Take Out. Their Chicken Taquitos Plate is OUTSTANDING. Crunchy.

Something doesn’t seem right about the meat in the carne asada tacos anymore. Not even sure if it’s real meat. It’s too bad, because the first few times I ate there it was great. Now there’s always a homeless person to greet you at the doors asking for spare change. All they need to do is fix their tacos and I would give them 5 stars on the food.

I was introduced to this place through a friend and love it! It’s like your legit authentic Mexican taco shops with the host and cook yelling at each other through the window. It’s laughable. Lots to order from the menu. You can get all the pickled carrot/jalapeños. The food comes out fire hot, they give you lots of limes, yummy horchata and can’t forget the thrifty ice cream!!

We pulled in the parking lot to go to another famous restaurant in the same shopping center…. Not really wanting seafood. I suggested we check out the tacos at durango taco shop.. First timer and I ordered off door dash. I did check the google reviews before hand. Ordered the birria tacos and soon as I opened the container I’m like this is not that. The shells are supposed to be fried with the birria sauce these shells looked only vegetable oil touched them. The meat was ok pretty bland. I ordered guacamole and it was turning already no onion, no tomatoes, no nothing just smashed up avocado. But hey first time for everything

I tried the tamales plate, which they only offer pork, chicken or vegetarian. I opted for the chicken and pork, which were pretty sad. The texture was dry, as you can see how it flaked. And I’m not quite sure what happened to the rest of my chicken tamale, lol? At least they have friendly staff!
