So many choices to try at the Krates, definitely glad we tried here first. Meal was GREAT and affordable. Chicken was juicy, empanadas were steaming hot, and beans were to brag about!! Staff was very polite and happy to answer my questions about the menu. Don’t forget the margaritas!!

I went here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. I got the pork bowl. Pork was on the dry side, rice and beans were just that… just rice and beans. No seasoning. The service was fast and the portion was big. Don’t know if I’d be back.

Dropped in today while exploring the krates and was not disappointed! Delicious food and such a lovely restaurant! Staff was extremely friendly as well. The plantain nachos were out off this world. Was a little disappointed in the Tampa cuban for the price it was but other than that I’d definitely recommend!

Attracted to the sign for mojitos and margaritas while waiting for food from another restaurant. Ordered one of each. The margarita was decent but tasted pre-made. The mojito was definitely pre-made and not sweet enough to balance the taste of alcohol. Would come back to try the food and skip the drinks.

My husband and I have been here several times now and the food is always great and the owner is super friendly and remembers us every time now lol! My favorite is the steak chimichurri sandwich but I also tried the chicken bowl with sweet plantains, cilantro rice and black beans and it was very good. Can’t wait to go back and try more things!

My first experience was horrible. I ordered 3 meals, and thought it was more expensive than on the menu board. I had to ask for my receipt, only to realize the man who cashed my order, overcharged each order by a $1.00 , when I brought it to his attention he gave back my money and rudely asked ‘anything else?’ NO APOLOGIES. Then told me I have to pay extra for condiments, when he was giving it to other customers at no charge. Patrons beware they rob you blindly, collect your receipt and check your bill. The food was dry, crunchy white rice and dry hard pulled pork. The bread for the sandwiches were also stale and hard.
