Here is to a truly local restaurant! Food is served from a buffet and you can tell everybody knows everybody in there. People are very friendly, specially when they see that you are an outsider. Stopped there on our way to Jackson. An authentic local experience, food and atmosphere!

The food was very very good. It was buffet style. The menu changes everyday. Although, they have fried and baked chicken everyday. Today, which is Wednesday, they also had chicken and dumplings, spaghetti, barbecue ribs and ham. They had several kinds of vegetables and rice. They also had your choice of several kinds of desserts. The cost was $ 11.00

Awesome downtown restaurant – great food and atmosphere. They had 6-8 meat selections for lunch and over 20 sides including desserts to choose from. Lunch is $11 for 2 meats, 3 sides, and roll. Come hungry 🙂

Worst ‘cafe’ ever! Food was cold, choice was limited, such as not offering fried chicken tenders as opposed to bone in fried chicken. Same thing with their bbq; all of it was on the bone. Chicken and dumplings had the consistency and taste of wallpaper paste. And to top it all it looks like we got food

New resident of Collins, first time customer of this restaurant. I was on the phone with my wife so she could tell me what she wanted to have on her plate for lunch. The server was rude because I was on the phone. I didn’t see a “no phone in line” sign. However, the very reason I was on the phone was to let her know what they had for lunch. When the server was confronted by the lady at the register she refused to apologize. I paid for the food and left. No matter how good the food may be, we will not return to this restaurant. I cannot believe I was treated like this.
