Bill’s Creole and Steak Depot is a little off the beaten path in Flora, Mississippi, about 20 or 30 minutes north of Jackson, a few miles off US Highway 49 and just past the railroad track; you’ll definitely need GPS. But it is definitely worth the trip. The steak tips are excellent, as are the loaded mashed potatoes and key lime pie. And the service is top notch. It’s an older building, giving it a rustic feel, which I like. If you’re in this neck of the woods, you should check it out. 5 out of 5 stars!!!

Service was wonderful and very fast. Our Steaks were HUGE, but almost too BIG, especially for Women that can’t eat steaks that big. Not everyone wants to take home leftovers especially when traveling.

First time visit for us, couldn’t have asked for better! Great attentive service and the food was delicious! Shrimp and Grits was amazing and the girlfriend had the steak tips which were cooked absolutely perfect and sooo tender and juicy! So flavorful! Thanks for an excellent meal y’all!

Don’t let the outside appearance detour you from dinning at this place! The food and atmosphere are quite the delight. Traditional creole dishes and world class stake make this restaurant a must go to if in the area. Ribeye pictured

I’m a certified steak judge, and this was one of the best steaks I had in my life. I was in town visiting a friend for the New Year and he took me here. Upon driving up, I wasn’t so sure. The building’s facade is very unassuming. However when I walked in, I knew I was home.

Second time here, this place is a gem. Instantly welcomed and brought into the back to grab a beer from the fridge. Had the steak tips again. This has to be one of the tastiest meals ever. Also enjoyed some crawfish, perfectly spicy and fresh.

Had our first and last experience at Bills last night. Do not waist your time! My husband and I both had fried oysters. Worst we have ever had. Absolutely no taste. Onion rings were freezer onion rings and the baked potato must have been reheated from two days earlier. We were hopeful this would be a great local eatery but it will not be visited again.

Have went to Bill’s several times and ordererd their 16 to 18oz ribeye.Not consistant with their steaks.Sometimes it great and sometime not good at all.Used to be 29.95 for the 16 to 18 oz ribeye,now its 33.95.You actually will get 12 to 13 oz depending if you get the 4 to 5 oz fat ball.I know ribeyes have marbling and some fat,but not a 4 to 5 oz fat mass.That means your paying 33.95 for a 12 to 13 oz steak.The part of steak that was eaten was tender,but if it advertised 16 to 18 oz steak that’s what i expect for that price.This is not the first time this has happened.

Redfish was good. Steak filet tasted like lighter fluid and was overdone. Staff was friendly. Our waitress was preoccupied chasing about 5 kids around, so we had to walk to the register to ask for drink refills. Cashier was very nice.
