We eat at the Boone DQ frequently and wish the local store would change it’s policy for tipping Blizzards upside down. We have talked to corporate they told us it is a local store decision whether or not to tip Blizzards and offer a free one if it drips. We have politely requested that they not tip our Blizzards numerous times but the employees say they are required to do it. When the store is busy, the ice cream machines apparently can’t keep up and the ice cream too soft so we are handed a Blizzard that drips on us and our car. Tonite my husband went by himself to pick up food and requested covers on our Blizzards thinking that would alleviate the problem. Nope. The first Blizzard was tipped upside down before the cover was put on so hubby was handed a messy Blizzard with a napkin wrapped around it. Of course, we would be entitled to ask the employees to remake the Blizzard(s) but if the ice cream is too soft in the first place, all we do is delay ourselves and those waiting behind us. We’ve contacted Boone store management several times in the past regarding this issue so we are kindly asking again. Please consider changing your policy for the sake of your customers and your employees. Good employees are hard to find and keep (which apparently is why your dining room is closed at times). Be kind to all of us and rethink this policy!

Wish there was a zero star option. 4/24 I was there approx. 130 pm. Ordered 2 meals. My fries were soggy and cold. When I asked for new fries I was told they were fresh. I clearly no the difference between fresh and stale fries so I asked to speak to a manager. The lady that came to the window was rude and annoyed by my request. I get things happen so it was not a big deal until I was treated like poorly. No one should have to ask for fresh fries !! Horrible customer service by management. I won’t be back.

Our first blizzard dripped so the girl ar window said she wasn’t going to do the other one. I said your sign does say if it drips, your next one is free. She proceeded to blame it on mother nature saying it isn’t her fault it is warm out ( was 78) .the blizzards were more like a shake, not frozen at all. She did everything to place blame on everything else but offering what their motto is!! Never ever in my life had a drip blizzard, even in 100 degree weather! Very poor customer service.

The manager at this location seems to think it is all right to have teens who are still in school close on weeknights so they do not get home until almost midnight. Then wonders why he gets complaints. Maybe he should relook at the schedule.

Went through the drive through and got 2 blizzards (butterfinger and snickers) they bring the butterfinger and I tasted it and it wasent butterfinger the lady came back and I told her and she said it was and I told her it was cookie dough. Another lady came and said is there something wrong with the blizzard and I said it’s not butterfinger and she said it is. She said I can remake it but it will look the same and I said it’s not the look it’s the taste it’s not butterfinger and she took it an remade it and brought it back and it was butterfinger. Then they almost forgot about the snickers one. Never had a bad experience till tonight .
