if you’re looking for the most unique Caribbean-African experience, THIS IS YOUR NEW FAVORITE SPOT! delicious food, super cocktails, great music and dope vibes from the coolest owner (Miss Roseline, you’re the GOAT!). I moved here recently and discovered King-N-Queens by accident but I recommend it without the slightest hesitation..

Don’t eat any food here, no seasoning, high price, low quality. My friend is being polite to take her wings home. Ask for at least half of the money from the awful food and the want me to order something else from the menu. Gotta be kidding me, never again. Y’all go to another hookah spot with good food, people that actually show up.

I’ve been here a few times and my favorite is the Egusi soup with chicken (spicy) with fufu. My friends had the same and oxtail, which they said was really good.

My experience at Queens Caribbean was nothing short of a complete disaster. The food was inedible, with a terrible odor and taste that made me feel sick to my stomach. The dishes were not properly cooked, and some were even burnt and over-seasoned. The portion sizes were small and overpriced, and I felt cheated by the low-quality ingredients and lack of flavor.

The jollof rice was kind of basic to me it was literally rice with some okay seasoning. Im used to more veggies and things mixed in my jollof rice, the oxtail and the goat combo was literally so small. 2 pieces of goat and only one oxtail In some sort of unique, almost tomatoey tasting sauce over it, not horrible but not what I’m used too, I like gravy. The rice and peas didn’t seem to have many peas at all, but it tasted okay. It’s not the most terrible meal, but it’s overpriced for its portion, and doesn’t taste like the best Caribbean food I’ve had in the city in my honest opinion. There’s other places you can go for the same price that are way more flavorful with bigger portions to be for real.

I ordered through door dash for a plate of Edikaikong(Efo) and pounded yam with oxtail and I wasn’t disappointed at all. The food was very delicious and tasty. I would order again

Extremely poor customer service. The light skin waiter lacks professionalism. While taking orders, he sat down which was sooooo unprofessional. Menu does not have pictures to help those who are not familiar with african food. I ordered Egussi with oxtail and a side of plantain. The food was very good, love it. But portions are RIDICULOUSLY small. Management( if there is any) should do something about it and give their waiters a better training. If you can overlook details, you’ll be fine. If you can’t, please go somewhere else.

was pretty tasty but portion size was small. I understand food costs have gone up but I’d rather have paid more money and received more food. I ordered this because I was hungry and I have to say I’m still hungry. unfortunately even tho it tasted good I probably wouldn’t order again. for the Jamaican oxtail you receive 3 pieces 1 is a decent size and the other is pretty small and the 3rd one was very tiny. for that meal and a side of greens was around $30. not worth it in my opinion. Again it did taste good. Wish I could have left a better review.

The rice taste like regular rice that was kinda hard like it was about to burn. I got 3 lil ox tails and the greens was nasty as Idk I paid 3 something for nothing. ♀️ I ordered off door dash I want my money back.

Terrible food portions and some irresponsible workers (check in and waiters). Attached picture is supposed to be for a jollof and chicken wings meal worth $20. I spoke with the manager about the portions my girlfriend and I got, miscommunication about full value of the $60 tickets my girlfriend and I purchased on eventbrite and the fact that several of his workers did not follow covid 19 safety protocols and thought about not posting but I need to post this so the public is aware, so be aware before you invest in this establishment. We spent $120 (2 eventbrite tickets) + $85(in the lounge) ~ more than $200 only to feel ripped off. That said, the manager himself was wearing a mask and some of the workers followed covid 19 safety protocols; the music from the DJ was great, the ambiance of the event was great and our waiter provided good service (and we tipped her accordingly) but, invest at your own risk.
