Fantastic place to eat. The sushi was amazing and they have a very large menu with many different types of rolls. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. This place should be a must visit for any sushi lover visiting Destin. The service was top notch as well. Couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I visited here for dinner today. When arriving, I must say the service and owner are super friendly! They were super helpful answering questions and made us feel at home. My boyfriend eats sushi all the time, but I don’t really like the fishy taste of it, so I got teriyaki chicken and rice. However, he had me try some things, and goodness did I get a wake-up call! Nervously, I tried baby octopus, but it actually turned out to have a great taste! We got the Good Life Special also, and when I tried it, I could no longer say I didn’t like sushi. I truly LOVED it! If we lived in Florida, I’d definitely eat here daily, so anytime we visit Destin, it’s definitely going to be a stop we make again! Highly recommend visiting if you’re in town!

This is the best sushi I’ve ever had in my entire life. You know the scene of ratatouille when he eats the cheese and all the fireworks go off? Same. Most delicious sushi I’ve ever had. It’s worth it. Try it! Great vibes in this restaurant!

Not a big place, but what a Great find in Sandestin! Im a sushi lover and this place filled my needs! I ordered the sushi/sashimi deluxe, Red dragon roll and two off the menu items(you have to ask ). Everything was well executed and tasted fresh. Chef even gave me a special sauce to try with my salmon!

Not a big sushi guy but I brought the wife here because she likes sushi, it was recommended by a friend and I wanted to get some later that night. From the words of my wife, “best sushi I’ve ever had” The atmosphere is great, I got some Udon which was amazing. It also tasted pretty good coming back up after drinking too much at a bar later that night. So it’s like a double positive or whatever.

Quiet, quaint, perfect intimate atmosphere. This is one of the few places in the area where you can find fresh local seafood brought to you in its purest form. Chef Andy will always delight your taste buds. Fresh citrus, spice, and everything nice is awaiting you at the best place to find the some of the gulf coast’s best sushi and Japanese cuisine. Grandpas best secrets are hidden within this gem of a menu. If you like spice , and I mean truly enjoy it, ask for Sophia’s hottest and you will not be disappointed.

We had a great time. They are busy, but we got lucky showing up at about 5 on TR night. The waitress was straight, to the point, and recommended an amazing roll that wasn’t on the menu. We ordered way too much food, but everything was delicious. Their chicken tempura also had sweet potato, broccoli, acorn squash, onion, eggplant, and green pepper tempura fried. There were 6 chicken straps, so it was a decent amount of food.
