We spent a couple of days hiking in the Hocking Hills State Park and on the second day I needed some good BBQ! Our hotel was right across the parking lot from Milestone and the reviews were good so we decided to give it a try. When you first walk in we were greeted and taken to our table right away. The staff were very friendly and enjoyed chatting with them. The place was very clean and very family friendly. They do have a nice bar that appeared to be well stocked. They brought out the cornbread right away and the drinks we ordered. Our waitress was very pleasant and kept checking on us. The food came out and was delicious! Good portion sizes. Not disappointed at all. Left the place full and started our trip back home. If you love BBQ this is definitely the place to hit. I tried to get a good pic of the menu so be sure to check them out.

Upon first entering the Hocking Hills area we needed some lunch and decided to stop in to this store. We were sat down very quickly even during the lunch rush crowd. The wait staff was friendly and excellent at checking on us throughout the meal. We started with corn muffins. The flavor was nice and sweet with butter, but they just didn’t hold together being so dry. I ordered the pulled pork with beans and potato salad. Let me just say that was some of the best pulled pork I have ever eaten. Tender, moist, full of flavor. Paired with their bbq sauce is heavenly. The sided didn’t stand up to the meat. The beans had good flavors, but the sauce was runny. I like my baked beans on the thicker side. The potato salad had way too mayo. I didn’t finish either side dish. I will definitely come back for that pulled pork, but will try other sides.

I ordered the grilled shrimp. My meal was delicious. Everyone else at the table also enjoyed their meal. Miller on draft was $1.50 when we visited on Wednesday a pleasant surprise. Our waitress was prompt making sure we had what we needed the entire time. The restaurant and bathroom was clean. They have reasonable prices. Definitely a place to try!

I was not prepared for so much food! After a long morning of hiking I thought I’d worked up quite the appetite, but my eyes were still bigger than my stomach. Everything we ordered was tasty and made great leftovers that evening! The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is clean and a fun treat for the eyes! Excellent to bring kids to as well!

We had a great dinner here. We ordered the meat sampler and it had enough food on it for 2 people to split and we still took home leftovers. The only thing is I wish the meat was a little hotter. It was just like warm. The flavor of all the smoked meats were great. We visited here in April 2023

Reviews seemed good and wanted to give it a try but it significantly missed the mark. Brisket was wellll done and tough as leather, not to mention quite disappointing when it hit the table. Only redeeming quality I could find was the cornbread muffins that came out as an appetizer and were the best part about this place.

Absolutely loved it, and since it’s non generic smoked goods that usually arrive dry or tough, it was a total experience on its own. Brisket was floppy and tender and full of that necessary smoke flavor, the house bbq was absolutely perfect thick and smoky in each level leading up to spicy. Ended up gettin the burnt ends wrapped in bacon, fried pickles, and the big meat sampler to try each of their goods. I can’t wait to go back, makes for a great pick me up after hiking the trails over at old mans cave just 12 miles away.

It was really nice sitting outside and listening to a live performance. There was a short wait for a table but there is a store across the parking lot that was fun to kill time in. We placed our app and dinner order. We ordered the sampler platter for appetizer and shared the meat sampler for dinner. There was plenty to share and take home of both courses. Sweet potato fries with the sugar mix is fabulous for the side. It came with the pit beans. The only thing that it lacked was a choice in bbq sauces. I always enjoy trying different types on different meats. Great food though, for sure!
