The service was pleasant and the food was all good. Got the combo 3 to share since I was not that hungry. It was so good that I wanted more. One claim was sandy but the shrimp was perfect. We mixed up the sauce since we couldn’t decide on which one. Will go back again.

Went there yesterday. Ordered combo #2. It included 1lb shrimps, 1lb crawfish, 1lb clams, had 2 potatoes, 2 corns, sausages, and you can pick your appetizer (we picked cajun wings). The portions were so big. The combo #2 was enough for me and my husband and we had some leftover. So I’d say one combo is enough for 3 people. So the pricing is very vey reasonable. The wings were really yummy. The sauce we picked for the combo was the mixed sauce in medium hot. It was so yummy. I loved the flavor. The medium was not hot at all for me. I’m Indian so I’m used to much more hot stuff The staff was very nice and helpful. But overall I loved my experience at the restaurant.

This is a very tasty gem that we stubbled upon. The wife was craving for a cajun seafood joint along the lines of BC. We frequent this shopping center a lot and I’ve always noticed Hot Crab but didn’t quite paid it any attention. So rather than driving to San Jose I decided to bring her over here. The waiter was nice and greeted us at the front door. We came on a Sunday afternoon around 11am so there was no wait. We got a booth and the place looked really clean and nicely kept. Order the crawfish, shrimp, and clams – med spice and all seasonings. The boys had the lemon pepper wings a fries. The food came out quickly and I was surprised at how good it tasted. Everything about the seasoning was delish. The butter was not to heavy and the mixture was perfect. The crawfish was fresh and the clams was nice a big. Kids loved the wings. We have came back 3 times already and each time the experience was just as good.

I usually go to San Jose to get some crab/crawfish but was craving it late and looked it up and found this place. Always seen it but never got a chance to come in.

I was surprised to see a Louisiana-style crab and shrimp boil open up in the Ulfert’s Center, but it fits in really well. I saw a number of Black and Asian-American families dining here, mostly getting the crab, shrimp, and crayfish. The meat in my fried crab stuck a bit too much to the shell, and they don’t give you a little fork to pry it out, but the freshness and flavor were excellent. The rice was not the best I’ve had in Ulfert’s Center, but on an absolute scale that was very tasty as well. Friendly if not expert service.

Fried crab is a waste as most of the crab flavor is dominated by the oil and dough. So, go with boiled.

We ordered combo 1. The seafood was cooked perfectly! We ended up getting medium spice and unfortunately it wasn’t spicy at all. I ordered a side of volcano sauce for $2. I mixed the medium and volcano sauce together and it was super tasty! Highly recommend mixing both sauces!

The overall experience was good. The food was yum. A fun way to eat seafood if you are a sea food lover or if you are like me who enjoys new experiences.

This place requires an extra fee when you eat inside. On my birthday, my family of 6, gave the server a tip and then when we went to pay and they added a service fee that totaled over $70. When I got the receipt, you can see in the wait staff’s eyes that they were expecting me to be mad. They must experience this often. The waitress was nice so I paid and left with my family, though my parents were upset. Will be going to either Rays Crab Shack in Fremont or Boiling Crab in San Jose or just taking the food back home. But remember to check your food, they often forget to give everything you order.

I chose the Cajun flavor and it was lacking. I think this place is to costly for what they’re offering. The garlic noodles were barely coated and the food temperature once it came out was all over the place. Hot in some spots cold in others.
