I’ve been to this restaurant several times in the past and was never disappointed until this visit. I went there to get a chicken sandwich, only to learn that they’ve removed it from their menu. Not only that, but they weren’t even allowing orders from the whole menu today. I could only order hot dogs or hamburgers and sides such as fries, tots, and onion rings. I ate a cheeseburger and some fries that tasted like they had sat under a heat lamp overnight. This visit left me wishing I had gone to McDonalds.

Use to come here regularly and now my family and I will probably not be back. The prices have went wayy up and the food has went down. If you’re going to increase prices, make sure the quality of your food is worth the price you’re expecting your customers to pay. This use to be our favorite place to come and now it won’t even be on our list of choices.

This place has changed my waitress was awesome but the hot dog special was not. Fries were not fresh, hot dog buns were wet, Chilli had no taste, and the hot dogs they use were flavorless and small. WHEN did they stop toasting the hot dog buns??? Sad to return to a place of my youth for it to be so bad now.

This place has gone down, used to be a great little hole in the wall place for good food. I would drive for 30 minutes just to get a hotdog but now the hotdogs are just whatever and the prices are crazy. If anyone wants to spend 3 dollars on a just ok hotdog go here , if you want to spend 3 dollars on a better hotdog go somewhere else…..

Archdale Soda Shop is a great place to eat I don’t know about anyone else. But to me they have the best hot dogs around and at a great price. I would highly recommend that you give them a try. A small place but been around for a long time.

Wow, it has been many years since I have eaten at this local establishment. If you want a good hot dog and cold tea or soda then this is a place to visit. The fries are hot and if you like homemade chips they offer these as well. Archdale, NC – come visit.

First time visiting there, and it was late and rainy, so there wasn’t a crowd. This is truly a family business, run by siblings. Our waitress was the granddaughter of one of them. The only reason I gave only 4 stars on atmosphere, is that it’s a soda shop/diner, not fine dining, but it was a great soda shop! Food was excellent, I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, my daughter had the Philly Chicken sandwich, and we split a huge order of chili cheese fries. And we even had an order of regular fries that were piping hot, and not greasy. The service couldn’t have been any better!

They had the car show and didn’t even say they where only serving hot dogs and hamburgers and fries until we waited 15 mins for someone to come wait on us handed us a menu then comes back with drinks and says that they are only serving these items
