Recently came across this restaurant during a search for where I wanted to go for my birthday. When we arrived, they had finished seating for the night, but offered us to order some food to go and at a nice table right outside. They even brought us water, silverware and plates! They delivered our food to us as well which we did not expect. The server who came over was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed multiple times. It honestly felt like dining in but outdoors. The food was honestly the best Italian I’ve had in NJ so far. I’m a big pasta snob and the rigatoni vodka was perfect. Aldente and the right amount of sauce. We added peas (minus the prosciutto because I’m vegetarian) and they did not hold back with portions. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks that came with a spicy marinara and the garlic bread. I can’t even explain how good both were. My boyfriend who doesn’t like mozzarella sticks keeps asking when we’re going back specifically for them. The dining room is small, so it will be hard to get a seat and they don’t take reservations. ( we arrived at 7 and they had finished for the night) BUT the food is well beyond worth it for taking it to go. It came out hot and the staff was beyond helpful. My new favorite place!!

Excellent service, everyone was so nice and welcoming (hard to find now a days). As an app we had their homemade mozzarella sticks, oh my …they were absolutely delicious. For our main course we had the homemade rigatoni with vodka sauce, peas, prosciutto and chicken parmigiana, it was all phenomenal! We will definitely be back !

I had the Lobster Arancini special ($10). Great size for a well made appetizer. The only reason I’m giving it 4*’s is because I got one or two lobster shell pieces in my food. If you can over look that then the food to price ratio is great and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

A wonderful gift in the heart of Denville. Always wanted to stop by and I finally made the trip. Super glad I did. Staff is friendly and courteous. Waited less than 10 minutes to get seated. Appetizers came out quickly and the food was incredible. I wish I didn’t eat a late lunch that day so I could have enjoyed more pasta. We got the arancini, and garlic bread to start. I couldn’t stop eating the garlic bread. For mains we got the linguini with clams and rigatoni with vodka sauce. It was all amazing. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Great pasta shop, small pasta restaurant, not a huge menu, which is great and get to focus on the dishes on the menu. Its bring your own alcohol or they have wine available as well. Plenty of parking on the street. We went for a work dinner and they took our bottles, opened them for us and left them on the table for us by the time the table was ready. The pasta was creamy and well cooked, the chicken and sauce were cooked perfectly. We had a small wait time when we arrived, the area is nice and perfect to take a walk as you wait. Recommend this pasta shop to anyone looking for any occasion!

Just patiently waiting for the day I can have The Pasta Shop fresh in person! The only times I’ve been able to have this delicious Italian food is for takeout because of how busy they are / not taking reservations. Hoping and praying in the future they consider expanding as they are one of the best Italian places around! Mozzarella sticks are to die for. Also a huge fan of the parpadelle bolognese & meatball appetizer. Maybe one day I’ll be able to sit down & eat in person

I was waiting for the exact moment to go because he had very good recommendations, it was a wonderful experience, the food is very homemade, the pastas have a very sublime flavor, the attention is excellent. each dish is prepared as I like it, without much salt, without many seasonings, just the essential flavor that the ingredients offer. We ate Burratas and Garlic Bread for starters and for mains, Tortelloni and Squid ink Pasta, accompanied by sangria. The atmosphere is excellent and the attention is magnificent. Of course I return and of course I recommend them… you will always find a friend next to your table. Congratulations..!!
