Overall this is a lovely establishment. I really enjoyed how esthetically pleasing the food looked and the intimate dining space. Their servers were very friendly and welcoming to everyone. They helped with all of our questions and gave detailed descriptions of menu items. They did end up forgetting one of our crew members food, so it took a while to get to us. They were extremely apologetic and continuously checked in with us. As far as the food goes it was pretty good. I love the Farm to Table aspect. The food did lack salt, but they made up for it with their delectable jams and herb butter. I definitely recommend trying this place.

Swung by this place on a Wednesday evening. It was a bit too breezy but our patio reservation was quickly changed to an inside table. The restaurant has done a great job of maintaining the look and feel of the general goods store but adding nice and comfortable touches. Extremely pleasant waitress gave us a bit of the history and took our order.

Update: We returned for an evening meal and were very disappointed; this was a big letdown from our first meal. In short: the food was not very good, too crowded and there was little selection. For starters, the cheese platter was okay only. The very expensive hamburger was nothing special . And the fries were rather awful, and no one ate them. The fish was tiny, and the sides were bland. The mushroom dish was okay. Very crowded and server did her best with so many people, I’m sure, but still not a great experience. Very expensive meal & no one really enjoyed it. Go for breakfast is my recommendation.

Amazing place to eat. If you enjoy quality, I suggest you eat here. Fresh food and delightful staff. The outdoor patio area with live music on a beautiful evening was so enjoyable. Cheese plate and salad was exquisite. The butterfly landing on the cheese plate was the cherry on top. We will definitely be returning.

Hot. Tired. With children. No reservation. What a beautiful surprise this place was for our hangry selves! Nala and Erika were full of sunshine and took amazing care of us. We are so thankful. We not only felt welcomed, but truly embraced. Even after 2/3 kiddos spilled their drinks, their smiles and kindness remained. The ribeye melted in our mouths. We left happy and filled- our bellies and our little souls, too! What a great first impression of Bastrop, we received here.

Burger was one of Top 5 of my life. Cocktails are creative and complex. The black garlic fries with aioli and rosemary are (chef’s kiss). Great service. Giant fans outside in summer make Al fresco dining very possible. Love love loved it.

We were coming in late from a work event with a fairly large party this past Wednesday night. The Store House was very accommodating and even stayed later closing up which was much appreciated. We ordered so many different things and were not disappointed with one item. The cheese board, salads, pork chops, duck and steaks were wonderful. The temp wasnt right on one of our steaks and they fixed it quickly and without any issue. Food quality is top notch!

You can’t go wrong with the pork belly Caesar and one of Kristina’s top notch cocktails. New seasonal menu is out and can’t wait to give it a try!
