The food is eatable. When I dine out for breakfast, I expect the cooking to be better than mine. The Patty Wagon is a step below the average home cook’s abilities. I had their breakfast of potatoes with cheese — nothing special. My wife had their Belgium waffle. It was akin to the waffle you pour yourself into a hotel breakfast bar. While the atmosphere is friendly, the food is mediocre. Skip this place.

My cousin and I were in that part of town and decided to grab a cocktail, as it was Sunday funday. It was brunch time and we found ourselves, as the only two patrons, having it with the bartender. Whom according to my cousinwas, “a handsome, baby faced, blue eyed, strwpping, young man”. I thought he was very nice and attentive. Lol. Drinks were but one get one for $.50, so how could we go wrong? Ended up having to leave abruptly, and the barkeep was kind enough to give us the drinks we had at the special price, as we only each had 1 bevvie. I’d love to go back and try the food, as I’ve heard rave reviews of the eats there. Based on the great bartender alone, we both said we’d go back, again. The business had been there for many years now, so they must be doing things right! Kudos !

Not a bad price. You get good sized juicy Lucy for the price here. We came in around 7:00pm and there was another table of 4 in the whole place. If you want a spots bar atmosphere go next door.

I like to try a new burger every time I go to Minneapolis, and this place showed up when I searched “best burger.” Wow, was I disappointed. I’ve had McDonald’s burgers with more flavor than this one. Salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard didn’t even help. I got the cheddar bacon Juicy Lucy, and there was really no flavor at all. The fries were ok. There was hardly anyone in there, but the service was so slow, and the wait staff never checked on me. I won’t be back.

Relaxed atmosphere, attentive and kind service, great food at value prices. Popped in for breakfast. Coffee cup never saw less than half full, same with soda. Omelet was full and luscious, belgian waffle with fruit exceptional. Hash browns and bacon crisp as it should be! This will be our new go to spot! Thanks Kim and the crew for everything!
