Indeed a NY deli in Potomac MD! Truly enjoyed my first experience. Reuben Fries are brilliant and the portion is extremely generous! The steak fries make the recipe better than any other stuffed fries. Indeed their corned beef melts in your mouth! The Crab pretzel is probably better dining in but the recipe is amazing. Can’t wait to try this establishment again & again! 🙂

This place is hands down my favorite deli. You can’t beat the price for the quality of food and authentic taste. Definitely takes me back to my childhood. You gotta try the deli, all the salads and meats you can think of. And their double chocolate cake is a slice of heaven. Best chicken noodle and matzo balls I’ve had in a long time.

Enjoyed the delicious stacked high corned beef on fresh baked rye. The accompanying fresh made potato chips were addictive. My friend liked her very generous tuna fish salad sandwich as well.

Update: Restaurant is still great. We ordered catering (“mini” sandwich platter) and it was an absolute hit. Reasonably priced, delivery was exactly on time as agreed, and looked gorgeous. Came with chips, pickles, and assorted decorative fruits/veggies.

Really enjoy this place. Everything is good, I personally thought the potatoes were just okay. But everything else has been really good. The sandwiches(Rueben especially) are amazing! Super casual and the people are nice. The bakery/shop area is the best part of this place though! Go check it out!!!

Hungry for a Reuben so I went to Attman’s Deli. I could not decide between corned beef or pastrami but luckily they have the Saratoga Club with a bottom layer of pastrami and a top layer of corned beef, with cheese and Russian dressing. Great sandwich! The rye bread was soft style and is not my favorite but fragrant and flavorful sandwich. Also had fries … good. Best surprise was the pickle bar … free! I had the little pickled onions (my new favorite pickle) and two different dill pickles. Outstanding appetizers! Service was excellent.

They fed me and I didn’t get sick. But to elaborate on this- the service was incredibly slow. It was over 15 minutes before the server came out to greet us and take a drink order or food order. We were a party of five and when the food started coming out, it was one by one spread out over a 10 minute period. The onion rings were over cooked as were the potato chips. I mean, potato chips should not be dark brown. The triple decker sandwich I ordered was supposed to have corned beef and regular beef. I couldn’t tell the difference and they were both tough and stringy. Someone else in our group ordered a triple decker and the kitchen used the heel of the loaf for the middle bread layer. The service was so slow that it took us over two hours to have lunch- not easy with a four year old toddler. Not going back.

The River road Reuben was probably the best Reuben I’ve ever had in my life. My only complaint is the price. If it was 16 to 18 dollars I’d give 5 stars.
