I had a fantastic time at Tarahumara Mexican Cafe! The food was absolutely delicious, and sharing the experience with friends and family made it even better. The service was great, although it was quite busy when we visited, resulting in a 15-minute wait. But it was totally worth it for the amazing dining experience! Highly recommended!

Holy Cow!! First visit and definitely not the last. This was the quickest, most efficient, friendliest place I think I’ve been. AND, I didn’t feel rushed at all! The staff were all assisting each other and working together. The food came out quick and hot. The chimichanga I had was the best I’ve had. The chicken in it was very flavorful. Chips were good also. We had a positive experience overall. We will definitely return.

I plan on eating here every time I visit Norman! Wow! SUPER fast service! Loved the chips, salsa, and queso prior to our food arriving! Chicken fajitas were cooked perfectly! Vegetables were nice and fresh, tortillas were great! Side items were great! LOVED it!

We dined here and I thought what I had was just ok. I Ordered the chalupa and my husband ordered the steak fajitas. I will be honest and say that Mexican food is not my favorite type of food unless it’s authentic. I ordered the chalupas and was expecting a shell that was puffy and curved, not flat, and I would be able to pick it up to eat. It looked more like a tostada. My chalupa had more beans, cheese and lettuce than meat, maybe 1 1/2 tbs of ground beef meat. Honestly, the Taco Bell chalupas taste better. My husband said the beef fajitas were awesome. However, I will say the service was excellent, and our food came out really fast considering the amount of customers they had.

This place runs like a fine oiled machine. The front of the house and service are perfect. The issue is with the food and price of the cocktails. I had the carnita fajita and my girlfriend had chicken fajitas. First, cut up pork chops is NOT Carnitas. And, the meat was dry, as was the chicken in the chicken fajitas. And, if you want to charge $14 for a single margarita, it better be a good one and have some kick. But it was mostly mix and I barely taste any tequlia at all. Ripping people off on the price of the cocktails alone will keep me from going back. The atmosphere is just Blah! It’s not a very big place and they have people packed in like cattle. There’s barely room to get up without bumping into your neighbor. It’s also way too loud inside. I was unable to carry on a conversation at my own table.
