First time visitor and won’t be the last. My husband and I had a lovely lunch. A little pricey, but very fresh and good portions. He enjoyed his burger and I loved my buffalo chicken sandwich. The garden salad was really good…ask for additional dressing.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was clean and family friendly. The kids enjoyed their basic single burgers and the fries were delicious. That said, beware that the specialty burgers are not what you’d expect. While I don’t expect the food to look like the staged photos, the disconnect here was startling. Served on a very tasty bun, the beef was cooked past well done and the toppings were applied with Burger King level care (this is not a compliment.). Any amount of care applied here would make this a 4-5 star rating.

This review pains me to write. I loved this place. I became a “regular,” as it were. I’m disgusted about my experience. Like my girlfriend Molly mentioned below, she found hair in her Beyond Patty Melt. See the photos. She literally bit into it only to have the hair in her mouth while chewing it.

First time at That Burger Joint and the Chipotle Jack Burger and Truffle fries were tasty, however pretty expensive for a fast food place. Love the concept of having the three different options together, especially Oberweis. My main concern is the cleanliness of the Joint. The person taking our order had gloves on, was touching the screen, flipped her hair, them used the same hand to pass out cups to us. The problem is that when she handed us the empty cups, she grabbed it from the inside, spreading all those germs to the inside of the cup. It was so strange. There were major spiderwebs in every ceiling light over the tables. The floors were dirty and sticky. The beverage area was absolute filthy, spills galore. The biggest issue was watching the girls making the pizza with their hair falling forward and swinging around the food. I’m sure someone is flossing with their hair after dinner.

Great ice cream, good burgers and pizza in one restaurant. I liked the idea. Food was good, service friendly. Very nice seating inside [although closed for now] and outside. There is a huge kids play zone outside that is a nice feature! Overall, we liked the concept and we’ll be back!

It’s very hard to find somewhere with a meat free burger. Their Beyond burger is hands down better than Impossible burgers, which are more prevalent. Kudos to them for having this option. We will definitely be back.
