The food was delicious!!! I had the build your own omelette with spinach, mushrooms and liver pudding. I loved it!! The lemonade with peach and two squirts of wild berry was a beautiful refresher. Staff are friendly and the food was fresh. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going here!!

I wanted to try something different and I came across this spot. Small cozy spot on lady street. Black owned restaurant. I got the shrimp and grits with bacon on the side with orange juice. I also got the pineapple lemonade. Everything was great. I see the special for this Thursday is honey garlic lamb chops. I will there to get them. Meet me there!!!!

Absolutely the best breakfast and lunch spot in Columbia! Most food items are southern comfort but don’t worry, there is something for every kind of person on the menu. The specials NEVER disappoint & usually sell out before 10:00am so order as soon as possible. The signature lemonades are amazing and are available in several different flavors. I’ve been a customer since they open and I absolutely Love the food, the owners and the staff! The owners are very nice and extremely helpful. They greet you with a smile. Even when they are busy they make you feel like you are most important person the room. It’s always clean inside and outside their doors and the energy is always positive.

I got the buscuit with sausage gravy, buscuit & shrimp gravy & an omelet. The omelet was huge & delicious. The smothered biscuits were not smothered, more like brushed. There was hardly any gravy on them nor any pooled at the bottom of the container. The flavor was great & presentation was nice but it needs more gravy to be smothered. I’ll be back to try more items

Black owned and delicious! The food is not too expensive but after you try it you’ll be wondering why they don’t charge more. Pro-tip: the restaurant only seats a total of six people so be ready to take it to go.

Food was good. The menu had lots of options. A little pricey for breakfast but they do offer specials. I will return to try a grits bowl.

Yall know I won’t lie to you….with that said. Get yourselves over to this spot! It is Black Owned & Made Fresh to order. I have no problem waiting the 15-20 minutes my lady & I waited for our food.

What a great breakfast & lunch spot downtown! Affordable pricing with good portion sizes on classic Southern favorites. Check their social media for their daily specials — they sell out FAST each morning! Small storefront itself, expect takeout service!

I love the sausage that comes in the grit bowl, the food is good homestyle, but the lemonade is the absolute best

Nice looking place, clean and bright. Cashier was friendly, but the wall signs had attitude. Would like it to open earlier since many of us have to be at work at 8:00.
