My husband and I ate here for our anniversary, it was phenomenal!! I ordered the Lobster Ravioli (a seafood lover’s HEAVEN,) and he ordered the Carpet Bagger. We got the Mississippi Mud Pie for dessert. The sweet potato muffin that is provided with the salad was to die for!! The restaurant was beautiful and nicely decorated. Our server, Brian, was wonderful. He was very polite and took very good care of us.

Me and my wife had a anniversary dinner here at Riverside and had the most amazing experience. We ordered the crab dip, and we were not the biggest fan of it. Neither of us like horseradish, this was not a knock on the restaurant because, I am sure some people love it. The waiter would not let us pay for it. We ordered some scalloped nachos, and let me tell you this was the best appetizer we have ever had. The service was top notch. Our waiter, Mason, was fantastic. Very attentive to our every need. Made some good jokes with us and just was a very pleasant individual. This restaurant is hard to get reservations for, especially with large groups. Treat yourself. Be patient as they are very busy, but everyone is working as hard as they can. 5 star experience. Hope to go again soon!!!! Thanks for making our night special!!!

Our 37th Anniversary and what a delicious treat! Standing proudly, and prominently in the curve of Swansboro, Riverside is a must destination! Brian was one of the very best servers we’ve had in years and should get a raise. I would have taken a pic of our grouper appetizer but we devoured it too fast. The “Carpet Bagger” is one of the best shrimp-stuffed filets I’ve ever tasted! Good enough to bathe in but what a waste. The Mahi dish was equally delish! A great way to end a great day! A little pricey but worth every penny!!

First time here. Timmy was an excellent server, friendly and helpful with decision making. Had the lobster ravioli special with shrimp and scallops which was delicious and of course had to have some key lime pie for dessert. Lovely experience, will be back.

Fabulous! One of our top five dining-out meals. From the salad dressing to the cheesecake, really great. We had crab cakes, and tuna with grits. Very nicely done, and the sauce is magic. Cortney did a great job. This was a real treat on a Tuesday night.

We’ve eaten here several times before but not in several years. The quality of the food was not as we remembered. The grouper appetizer, salads, and breads were good, but 2 of 3 entrees were lukewarm at best, the sauce with the ravioli was watery and nearly non-existent, and the scallops tasted frozen. I know what a fresh scallop tastes like, and that wasn’t it. The only reason I finished my meal was the crazy price we were paying for it. We won’t be returning.

Amazing! We love this restaurant. The staff is always friendly, welcoming and accommodating! The food is top tier! We will start with appetizers. I haven’t had a bad one yet. I love the crab dip! The salad here will not disappoint either. If you’re a ranch lover, you will understand once you get it. Your salad also comes with a hot delicious sweet potatoes muffin, that people go nuts over. Entrees I try something different every time, but if you’re a seafood lover the grouper is unmatched. I recently got the shrimp and grits and wanted to lick my plate, but I didn’t. Seriously if youre in the area go visit this wonderful establishment. I promise it won’t disappoint.

We’re locals and this is our favorite restaurant. We love sitting upstairs at the bar. The staff are like good friends, the service is exceptional and the food is consistently excellent. We especially like the crab dip, scallop nachos, and grouper bites for appetizers. Crab cakes are a favorite entree, but we’ve never had anything that wasn’t first class. Be sure and make reservations, especially in the summer and weekends.
