We come to Rocco’s from the greater New York City area where there are tons of pizza chefs who are very good at creating mouthwatering pizza. This pizza from Rocco’s stands tall against even the best pizza available anywhere. The crust, in particular, is a thing of beauty. Crusty on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. I enjoyed every bite. We asked for broccoli with tons of garlic. Fantastic!

Tucked away deep in amsih country, you’ll find this little slice of Italian heaven. This amazing authentic restaraunt is the definition of a hidden gem. Split into 4 areas of takeout order counter, bar, patio, and very cozy restaurant. The service and atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Hard to choose from so many great options on their menu. All portions are legit, largeItalian plates. Everyone’s food was amazing each time we went. If your near Lancaster it’s well worth the drive to enjoy Rocco&Ann’s. The Alfredo sauce is the best I’ve ever tried in my life, I can’t explain what it is, you need to try it to understand. There’s Something in the sauce that will leave you wanting more.

What we had was delicious but we didn’t get what was included with the dinners. We thought it was strange that the hot food arrived before the salad but being hungry we dove in. The salads never came. Someone needs to train/retrain our server to . She definitely didn’t deserve the tip I left!

We’ve been to Rocco and Anna’s numerous times over the years and have always loved it. So, I made reservations for Mother’s Day and we were seated right away. When my Dad’s lasagna arrived he started eating and after a few bites realized the middle was ice cold. When the server checked on us he shared with her that his food was cold. She said, “I’m sorry” and walked away. We were dumbfounded. There was never an offer to heat it up or replace it and a manager never came to the table to chat about the situation. Such a disappointment on a beautiful Mother’s Day.

If you like delicious Italian (and other) food in a cozy, homey, friendly environment, Rocco and Anna’s is the place. Don’t let the front outside fool you- once you are inside you will feel at home. There is also an outside patio and plenty of parking in their large parking lot in the back. I have been there three times(so far) and each visit was a joy!
