We drive by this restaurant quite a bit. In in a little stop mall with other restaurants. We decided to give this place a try. The Bimbibop is delicious. We ordered off the lunch menu. I had one of the combos. You choose a meat then choose an entre. In my case, I had the crispy pork belly as my meat and I had the bimbibop as my entree. The bibimbap comes with strips of beef, carrots mushrooms, noodles rice, and mushrooms. Comes out piping hit. The rice at the bottom of the bowl has a nice crisp texture. You also get side dishes of kimchi, pickled cucumber, pickled radishes ( two different kinds), and glass noodles. Come with a nice salad as well. Plus they serve Coke products which is a plus to me. The folks there are friendly and helpful and answered our questions. The ambiance is pretty casual. I will be back to try other items on the menu.

One of the Best Korean bbq out there, my experience was abit rush , the place was fully pack, we were given a chose of waiting for 1hour or rush to eat there food because there was already a reservation for spot but we had to eat the food under hour : overall the meat was pretty good but sides are “Not” unlimited depending which combination you pick all the sides are not unlimited. The totally cost will depend on what you pick either regular size or large size of meats. The restaurant won’t charge you by person you have pick different size…. Overall experience 8/10

Amazing experience! Server were very helpful and also allowed me to cook the food to my liking (experienced cooks only) they were very informative and free refills on the lemonade and side dishes was welcome. A little sad rice is not on the menu and would love to see rice not be an extra fee for the rice lovers out there. We had the meal for two which I believe was 65$ but the curry pork is a must try since I was told it was fairly new to the menu clean sleek design and I especially love the smoke vacuum over the pan. Golden chopsticks and plate wear was very appealing highly suggest for dates or special occasions or just to plain spoil yourself. Highly recommended! Great job!

One of the newest Korean barbecue places in merrifield area. As soon as you open the double doors you’re hit with on aroma of smoked Korean short ribs / kalbi. panchang side dishes for excellent, especially the pickled pink radish amongst other dishes like the spicy radish and pickled cucumber.

Overall good experience, I had made a reservation and was able to get my table on time. There was a total of 3 of us, so we ordered the large Tan A. I had thought it would be too much food but surprisingly, it was not enough, and we aren’t big eaters either. The total came out to be 48/person after taxes and tip. At the end of our meal after we paid, one of the waitresses started cleaning up our plates, note my friend was still eating meat, so I thought that was a bit rude. But nonetheless, the meat was super good, and the rest of the service was good. I would come back to try the omakase for sure next time.

The food here was amazing! Everything we had was delicious. Easily one of the best Korean Barbecue places I have been to in the area. We walked in on a Monday evening without a reservation and were able to be seated right away. It is a smaller place though, so if you are planning on going with a bigger group, I would recommend calling ahead. Once again, the sides and the meats were delicious. We especially enjoyed the beef soup, the steamed egg, and the pork belly. I highly recommend Puzukan Tan and will definitely be returning.

Highly recommend (top 3 Korean BBQ in DMV, imo). Food quantity and flavors were on point. It was our (2 adults) first time dining here and we tried Tan Combo “A”; thought the value was pretty fair. Definitely recommend you call ahead and make reservations. Somewhat unique, they use a fountain soda machine (surprisingly delicious) rather than canned soda.

Went for their soft opening and it was a truly a great experience. We ordered the Tan A set and the meat quality was just phenomenal. Unlike some of the Korean bbq around here, the vent system worked and helped really pull the smoke away from the table. Just that alone deserves a 5 star review . Come for the meat!

Very good Korean BBQ restaurant. We tried some Korean BBQ classics, bulgogi, cha dol, and kalbi. All cooked at the table to their perfection. The condiments were more than adequate, accompanied the main dishes very nicely.

Superb meat quality and taste. And our waiter grilled them so well. Ban Chan could have been better. The japchae had no taste and the cucumber was mediocre. I love how they sell half portions of meat at a lower price so if you love meat, you can def go on an adventure.
