Love this little road side joint after one visit. Passed it nearly a hundred times after mtb rides and it did not disappoint. Great mountain vibes and a sense of community in its walls. Appreciated the staff willing to do a mix of lemon pepper and hot sauce not on their regular menu for their wings. The food and drinks were great. Next time you’re in town hit em up.

I’m sorry to say that my wife and I did not have a good experience here. We were there on Saturday at about 3:00pm and it was chaos with the staff. It was not very busy and it took 15 minutes to get waited on. Our server said it was his first day and it showed. He kept forgetting us and our drink orders. We ordered a club sandwich and tots and got a dry club sandwich with curly fries. There was no mayo or sauce on the sandwich and the bread was soggy. This was our first time here and our last.

Service could have been better when it comes to speed and attentiveness. Food was decent but pretty expensive for bar food ($16 for 5 wings for example). Nice outdoor seating area. Didn’t go inside at all so can’t speak to that.

We love this place! Such a great location. But the staff is what really makes this place amazing. Gretchen is or absolute fave. She always greets us with such warmth and she is always just so much fun. Alex is another great addition as well. I bartended for over 20 years and it’s hard to find good places with good bartenders let alone incredible ones. So between those two you can’t be disappointed. I don’t where this place found those two gems but we’re grateful!

I’ve been to the Sitting Bull many times over the last year or so. It’s right up the hill pass the fort in Morrison Canyon in Indian Hills. I go up there to watch and listen to bands. They’re usually always very good. Sundays was great! A band called G Street Mojo. Unfortunately there was no waitress serving in the live music area, so you had to go over to the bar area to get your own food and drinks. In the past there has most always been a waitress, but not on this occasion. I’ve always had a nice experience at this place. But I was disappointed on this occasion when a guy was smoking a cigar right behind us and not outside on the patio where I thought he should have been. It nearly choked us all out. I think he was just an inconsiderate jerk, where every other person I’ve encountered there have all been nice. I guess I should have complained to the bartender but I didn’t. Oh well!
