This seems to be a chain through the area. Prices on the food are very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and pleasant. Food came out quick. The fried chicken was good, and the BBQ was ok. The cole slaw and beans were good. Nothing spectacular about this establishment, but I would eat there again while passing through. I would certainly like to try some of the other options they have available.

This place is very dirty . Breading on chicken was very soft no crunch to the breading…potato salad was very bland cole slaw wasnt too bad french fries were good and hush puppies were excellent. So if we ever go back it will be only for hush puppies and will be drive through as this restaurant was very cold. Service was fast for being busy. Definantely not a fan.

There’s several locations in the area and this location is one of the best. Tried several items from their menu but the fried chicken is my favorite for sure. With a side of okra. The outside of the chicken is nice and crispy with the inside remaining juicy. Don’t let me forget to also tell you about their amazing iced tea! If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by or check out one of their other locations in the area.

Rude and the worst customer service ever. I will never eat at this establishment again. BBQ was terrible an very dry. Freezing cold in dine in area. Guess they rather everyone do drive thru so they don’t actually have to work…fried chicken was on point but other than that my whole plate was terrible. Baked beans had more meat in it than beans. High prices but terrible food

A great experience at Smithfield’s. The chicken was very hot and fresh, as were the hush puppies. Coleslaw was good too. I love Smithfield’s ambiance, with the old movie pictures and the music from the ’50s. When we are on the road, We often find a Smithfield s restaurant as the quality of the food is good and fresh. Another good stop at smithfields in Kinston. Hot and fresh chicken, good coleslaw and Brunswick stew as a side. Always clean bathrooms

Food is great and comes out quickly. Out of the 3 times I’ve been, 2 times the cashiers didn’t seem too happy to be there to take my money. They acted like I had done something to them. Once there was an older guy who was awesome.
