If you don’t know this place, you are definitely not a local. Fast Mexican food that always tastes great. Perfect for a “quick” bite. I placed “quick” in quotations because the servings are large. Think forearm size in regards to the super burrito. Always busy, always quick, always good food.

I don’t know how I missed trying this place for so long. It is sort of a “hidden gem,” so maybe that’s my excuse. It isn’t often that a hidden gem keeps winning Best Of awards year after year, especially in a foodie town like Santa Barbara. Super Cucas has a long, well-earned, string of those Best Ofs.

Love them & they have ginormous portions! I go a lot. They’re all so very kind & helpful. They also have a small butcher section with some veggies. Different drinks to go and some somewhat knots. The picture only shows half of my burrito. The seating is outdoors with an umbrella seat or in a loosely enclosed area. There is a bathroom but no handicap bathroom. Tables are handicap accessible.

I’ve come to this place since I was a kid, so I have fond memories of the food; Yet growing up and becoming an adult, has made me realize that the food ain’t worth the price anymore and that they make constant mistakes with the food. When i was a kid a burrito was $4 now its $12, and I’ll order the simplest order like bean, rice and cheese burrito and they’ll add tomato, or onion, or carnitas, when that wasn’t what I ordered. Or I’ll order something like a plain chicken quesadilla, and I’ll get one filled with veggies and hot sauce with barely any cheese. Overall it ain’t worth the price when the consistently mess up.

Absolutely delicious! My son and I had the shrimp plate and it was SO Good!! Rice, veggies, and a ton of shrimp all with 2 fresh salsas on the side. Some of the best Mexican I’ve had in a long time!
