I was missing some good home cooking and saw that this place had some Lao dishes that I could try. I got the papaya salad (Lao style) and the sweet rice mix dish. The som thom was definitely missing something and the mix dish taste was not that of Lao style, taste was Americanized for sure. Rib was dry, sausage was soggy and beef jerky was literally a stick and dry. I will say though, what my husband got was pretty good. He got the Lao spicy basil and duck fat fried rice! His items were really fresh and tasted good.

I love the Pad Thai with chicken here. There are a lot of Thai restaurants in the area but Sweet Rice seems more modern to me. The young woman working today was super polite and friendly. Highly recommend!

Stopped by this place that near my home at the first time for lunch. This is a Lao/ Thai cuisine restaurant. I ordered from a screen in the front, there is a menu with photos. The lady in the front is very friendly and helpful. I ordered pepper steak and it was very good.

Kept hearing about this place and decided to try it out. The food was really dry especially the meats. Everything tasted like beef jerky. Probably will not eat here again. It wasn’t horrible but there are a lot more restaurants you can get quality food at with a better price.

Ordered pad Thai noodles, received completely different plate than what was pictured, no side peanuts, salad or lime. Noodles taste like rubber and too much sauce. Music was loud with profanity. Place was empty and waitress did not checked on me once. I regret tipping before paying. Did not enjoy myself. Not coming again.

This is a counter service restaurant. It could get pretty hot inside during summer if you dine in or if you don’t like eating off paper plates and plastic utensils, I would suggest ordering a takeout instead. Thai style papaya salad and Pad Kee Mao chicken were tasty; for the price they charged, the portion size is kind of small though.

We have eaten here since it open and the last two visits have not been great. Tonight was the worst, zero greeting, food was not correct, and when approached that onions were on our food the employee said she would let them know. We waited and no new food came out. This dish was meant to be shared but due to my onion allergy, my kids just ate it. The employee a girl with long nails was less than friendly and honestly quite rude by rolling her eyes when I let her know about the food. This will be the last time we will come here and the place was dirty.

Really good food with lots of flavor. The atmosphere is good. The only issue is no soy sauce at the table and you can’t substitute tofu for meat without paying a premium.

I loved Sweet Rice for the first couple of years they were open and the staff was so nice, great food. I have a feeling there are new owners because the food tastes completely different than it used to. Actually, it has no taste now. Ordered cashew chicken and the fried pork spring rolls yesterday. Absolutely tasteless, however the quality of the chicken and veg were good. Sad! Luckily there are other good Thai options in town (I’ara Thai by Supermall)

We ordered delivery, and would do so again in a heartbeat. Our order was huge, including Mekong beef, beef skewers, fresh rolls, pad thai, pad see ew, herbal chicken fried rice, and many more. All of it was delicious, my favorite was the beef skewers and crunchy fried rice lettuce wrap.
