I came to the lunch box for something different .. the tables were nasty not wiped down.. got two burgers and paid almost 40 dollars way overpriced.. the food was ok but I felt like I got ripped off when I got the bill… the service was extremely slow took about 45 minutes for my food… was not impressed

I honestly judged a book by its cover too quickly here. I was a little concerned when I walked in because the place needs a little updating. But the food more than made up for it. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was GREAT. If you’re in the area and in the food for some AWESOME ma and pop diner food this is the place !!!

Went when they were pretty busy and still received my food quickly. The waiter was friendly and with a small location you get a more personal service. Where this restaurant really shines is its desserts, the Buckeye pie slice we had was delicious and was big enough for 3 people to share. I would highly recommend this place to any tourists as you aren’t going to find much better.

This is a very nice little restaurant especially handy for those who work downtown Sandusky. The menu offers a lot of choices. I had the Monte Cristo which isn’t exactly the same as other places but it was still very good. My husband had a chicken Reuben sandwich and he ate every crumb.
