The food was delicious and the inside was really clean. For side dishes, we ordered the Deep Fried Fish Skin and Curry Fish Balls. Both were amazing but the curry fish balls are especially great! I ordered the soup with sliced beef and dumplings. The beef is SO soft and I’ll definitely come back again.

I have Wonton Guy in my bookmark and it’s time to check it off and check in to Yelp! At first I thought the name is for light-heartedness’ sake, until when I saw the Chinese signage. I then realized it’s really a play on phonetic translation. The Chinese name, 雲吞佳, pronounced /won-ton-gai/ in Cantonese literally means wonton masterpiece. I am not sure if they came up with the Chinese or English name first, but I thought it was genius!

My family and I went there for the wonton noodles, flat rice noodles, and fried crispy fish skin. My dad is Cantonese so it brought back a lot of good memories for him. The shrimp wontons were huge and expertly made and crispy fish skins soaked in the homemade broth was so tasty. Weve tried many spots in New York and this is by far the best and most authentic wonton noodles we’ve had on the US East Coast. The service and atmosphere was also excellent. Normally we have to go to Toronto to try authentic Cantonese wonton noodles but this is now our new go-to spot!

Recommend: wonton in any of the forms, adding beef gravy if you’re getting soup, egg noodles (with soup or as lo mein), curried fishball, braised beef

Great wontons–packed with 2 (3?) giant shrimp and full of flavor thinly wrapped. We got frozen ones to go. The flat noodles are not wide, about half a cm wide, the variety that stays chewy longer in hot broth. Egg noodles were perfectly chewy. One star off for the slight fishiness of the giant dace balls. Want to try to curry fried fish balls next time. Cooked lettuce with oyster sauce is exactly what you expect. This is inexpensive and delicious Hong Kong style fast food. Everything came out in less than 5 minutes after ordering.

If you are a fan of the Wonton experience in Hong Kong or Southern China, you have to come here.

Came for 6p dinner on a Thursday, got seated immediately and really quick to order and receive the food. Absolutely amazing wontons, huge, juicy and flavorful wontons. Each bite is a taste of heavenly bliss. We also thought the brisket was godly. The noodles itself is that classic canton noodle soup taste. Got curry fish ball as app and worth it! We even bought 12 wontons to take home.

2023.03 delicious wonton and 水餃,and beef stew super tender. 炸醬 a bit disappointing. To me is an bit salty . Soup is authentic enough, I prefer more strong heavier taste. Reasonable price. Abt 25 seats

Their noodles are delicious. Their wontons are the best. Their meat is marinated to perfection. This is the first time I willingly and wanted to go to the same restaurant twice in a row (dinner, then brunch then next day). Everyone who walked in the door had a smile of excitement that this location had finally opened – and I see why. Glad they opened a location in Edison NJ.

Noodles are very good – I got the egg noodles and they were cooked perfect al-dente, soup was very hot and flavorful, shrimp was very big – price for quantity is very good. Not very oily – seemed great for people dieting too; would come back and 10/10 recommend this place.
