Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends.
After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande.

We didn’t want to wait 2 hours at cooper hawk (who i believe had a fake wait time to get ppl to buy wine at the bar) and walked down. They too had similar non reservation timeline but accommodated us and our toddler wonderfully. Usually at an upscale place like that you wouldn’t think so but they were all great! The salmon spinach was the absolute best I’ve had, and my toddler had the truffle Mac and cheese, which I got to eat half of it .

One of the nicest Italian food in STL. A modern touch to the inside space – very different from the original Napoli at Clayton. Nice selection of cocktails. The waitress was great in getting some nice mock-tails as well. The lamb racks were one of the best!!

Loved everything about our dinner! Patrick was our waiter and fantastic! Super helpful, humorous, and on point! Great meal, service, and ambience. We sat on the patio and it was an awesome meal. First time here and I went for a work dinner. I was very excited to get to experience this place as I have heard nothing but amazing reviews about it. Unfortunately, I can not add another amazing review. The food was good but not outstanding and for the prices, I was hoping for better. Our waiter smelled very strongly of smoke, which is very unpleasant when you’re eating. He also kept coming over and interrupting us constantly, it’s nice to be checked up on, but this was excessive. I will say the restaurant was extremely clean and the atmosphere was very nice. My favorite thing I ate all evening was the crème brûlée. We all agreed we were glad we experienced it, but none of us will need to go back.

Had the most amazing time celebrating my fiancee and I’s birthdays tonight at Napoli 2. Our waiter was attentive, well spoken, and checked on us frequently. We started with perfectly crisp calamari, and two large salads. Our dinner was a seafood pasta and the filet special, both were divine. Our complementary dessert was incredible. We will absolutely be making this a regular spot for special occasions. Thank you for making our night so special!!

Underwhelmed. Hostess seated us but let us know we had just under an hour until the next reservation for that table. Manager eyed us all night waiting for us to eat and get up. Server was good, food was ok. We’ll stick with CB’s or Twisted Tree.
