We cut, grind, and patty our own burgers and we feature 8 homemade soups every day that match well with our huge salads. We make awesome onion rings daily which pair perfectly with our famous ribeye steaks or signature sandwiches. We also feature fresh seafood daily and you don’t want to miss our lobster bake on Saturdays! We have bottled and draft beer, ipa’s, and local finger lakes wines.
Dine outside in our 40×60 festival tent or sit by the pond at one of our 2 fire pits on our Adirondack chairs. Of course, we always feature indoor dining.

Fun place with a smaller bar and good diner type food. Ate a typical burger and homemade rings which were good! Had a nice band the Coupe Devilles playing which was fun. Needed a bigger place for dancing and a better stage for the band in my opinion. We still had a fun evening!

The food was pretty good and there was a great selection to choose from. It’s been decades since I’ve been in this place, we went there as a family when I was a kid. On this night we went to see a 2 man band and it was a bit crowded, so we had to stand for a short time. We were next to the server pickup area and the owner introduced himself, welcomed us and got us our drinks. Another table asked us to sit with them and eventually we got our own both so we could eat and still see and listen to the music. I found out later that there were a bunch of extra people there from an Arcadia high school reunion, I even knew a few! I’d like to stop back for dinner sometime when it’s less crowded, they have some great looking specials!

Incredible place with amazing food! Staff works very hard to make sure everyone is well taken care of. Dave & Stacey (the owners) are very sweet and generous souls who work very hard to make sure the customers and those who work for them are very happy. Such a great place to eat. Great bands play there on Friday’s & Saturdays and they have a great selection of good bands playing every weekend! Do yourself a favor and stop out and you’ll experience greatness! A Lake Ontario institution, anytime we’re in Rochester we try to stop and have a meal. Went recently wentwith a large group, the food was excellent the service was fast friendly and attentive. Traditional burger joint fare but so good. The onion rings were some of the best I’ve ever had. I had a garbage plate it was delicious. It’s nice when things don’t change.

Visiting Rochester, my first stop is at original Charbroil restaurant at island cottage rd. The food is amazing, best hamburgers, Texas hotdogs, onion rings. Service is top notch. Still making their own hamburger meat. I had double sausage burger, double hamburger and two Texas hots. Plus chicken sandwich. Trying to get my fill. I use to work here 30 plus years ago. Great place to have dinner with your family. I have 4 more days to enjoy eating there before I fly back.

The food and service was great , as it always is. The prices are also very good. The menu has such a variety of choices there is no way you couldn’t find something to eat. Have not been to the Char-Broil since it was a hamburger or hot dog type of restaurant it’s now a very nice restaurant has a bar a lot of boots I had dinner it was great and everybody else I talked to about their dinner was very pleased the band Warehouse was playing I had a great time and I will be going back many more times highly recommend it
