This is a gem! The hole in the wall name is beyond that! It’s historical and on the water has live music and waitress and staff were amazing! The best bloody Mary’s with a large shrimp and cookie martini was amazing with real frosting on rim! Food was delicious! Highly recommend! Great prices! Goodness cou lover enough from this place in January can’t wait till the summer to visit with our boat!

The owner Buddy made sure my large party was given A 1 service. The manager Conner exemtifed great customer service bar none. He had his top server waiting on my party. If was a reflection of great training in the area of customer service. The view by the river was also excellent. This restaurant makes all chain restaurants needing to step up their game. On behalf of myself and family and my dining party we will spread the word about a elligent and magnificent dining experience we had to our friends, family, neighbors and co-workers.

Lovely location on the CD canal. It took nearly ten minutes for the hostess to seat us, even though we had reservations. Waitress was a sweet young lady. For some reason, two parties who came in after us were served their food before us. We had to ask for a straw for our drinks. We were not offered refills as other parties were. I had visited before and had a much better experience. Should have 5 stars in all categories.

Tried to add another review due to already leaving reviews in the past. But my review is for Sunday Feb 19… As usual the place is Great. My wife and I come here every year for our anniversary but found out last year that the Bayard house was under new management. I was a little worried but all that was for not cause everything was great and so was this year. Our server was Dillon and he was exceptional, our meal was perfect cause he listened to how I wanted my filet cooked, man it was just perfect. Our meal from starters to entre to desserts was Great. We will keep coming back with service, views and food all 5 stars… Can’t wait to try the other restaurant but can’t remember the name Mr. Frank mentioned. Hopefully someone reads this and can give me the name, first thing to go is memory lol…

The food was amazing, however, be aware of using your credit card and double check what you owe. They overcharged my friend on her credit card and wanted our other friend to just give her the cash to cover it. Our friend didn’t owe her the money, the restaurant did! Thankfully it was noticed before leaving. They only fixed it after my friend said she would dispute with CC. Not a good way for a manager of a restaurant to handle a mistake made by their employees. Do better.
