For me, happiness is a hot corned beef or pastrami sandwich. The New York Steamer sub had both meats, melted provolone and a delicious combination of mustard, mayo and Italian dressing. Can’t get any better than that. My glasses were all fogged up from the cold, so Ryan helped me pick the perfect combo for me. Service was great. My sandwich was brought to my table and three members of the staff stopped by to check to see that everything was okay in the twenty minutes or so it took me to eat. I expected good food, but it was so nice to feel so pampered.

Work in Alexandria City and love swinging by here on my way home. Usually order takeout. Haven’t disappointed me yet. Their large Italians are juicy and full of meat. Prefer this joint over similar places like subway or Jimmy Johns.

This has to be my favorite sub places. The bread is just right. Unlike some places that try and toast the bread and it turns hard. Firehouse bread is warm and soft. Just thinking about firehouse subs makes me want one.
