My story
I was raised learning about the restaurant business since I was 10 years old! My father opened his first Taco Shop in 1974 in San Diego! He taught me all that I know. I came up with my new idea in opening my own brand: Burros & Fries fresh Mexican grill! I opened my first restaurant in 2009 in Tijuana, Mexico.
Now we have crossed the border opening new locations across San Diego. It has been a great experience growing my business thanks to all my wonderful customers! Hope you enjoy all that my father has taught me.

Came here for our first time for breakfast. My wife and I with our twin daughters. The place was very clean. Service was so polite and the breakfast burros were so good. Their salsas were amazing. Food was fresh. Definitely will be a new spot to consistently hit up. Coming back to try more of their menu.

We Knead Dough Patisserie
The atmosphere of this little gem is upbeat, beachy vibe..multiple TVs so you can catch up on your favorite sports. Bathrooms are clean, but there is no hook for your purse in the bathroom that i went in. Staff are friendly and eager to answer any questions you may have. Condiments station is well stocked and in the short time it took to get our order and eat the staff kept it very clean. With the large extensive menu I am sure you will find your favorite combination. I chose the fish taco plate . Two fish tacos with rice & beans. The fish was cooked perfectly with a crunchy breading, with the fresh Pico and cabbage and that Amazing Baja sauce that the fish is gently sitting in, delivers that pop of flavor & spice your palate is looking for. We will definitely be back soon..

First time visiting this place, I’m so happy to have a real good burrito spot in surprise, it’s extremely difficult to find real Mexican food here, and I’m so happy we finally got something! the flour tortilla is so good and soft, taste home made! The carne asada fries are good too, but I’m here mainly for the burritos and horchata! Don’t miss out on this place!!

We were excited to try this place out after we saw it was being built. Tried it out for the first time and was more than disappointed. I got the Surf&Turf Burrito, a side of fries, and the wife got the shredded beef tacos. When we got home we realized that the tacos weren’t in our bag, and we had to go back to get them. The fries were soggy, and none of the food had any flavor. Good thing they give you lots of hot sauce, you are going to need it!

Drive thru , Service was OK. It seems that there is am issue with the intercom where it seems that I need to scream for them to hear me . The food was pretty good . But I highly suggest you double check your order . There has been many mistakes on the orders I’ve made. ( ordered strawberry churros and got caramel instead. Ordered steak ,egg , fries & cheese and was missing the egg) etc. Pretty pricey to deal with these issues.
