I tried this restaurant for the very first time tonight after reading so many positive reviews. To my surprise, I had a very bad experience which was due to the poor service I received. I sat at the bar, and it took 15 minutes for the waitress/bartender to acknowledge me. I ordered the queso dip to start, and when she delivered it, I had to wait 10 more minutes for her to bring me chips (you know, so that I could actually eat the queso dip). Then, the waitress brought me the wrong entree which I hadn’t ordered, so another 10 minute wait ensued. Finally, when my entree arrived, the waitress disappeared, not once checking to see if I needed anything. Once I received the check, I had to point out yet again that I was being charged for the wrong entree. This was the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant within the last 10 years. The food was okay, but nothing amazing, and definitely not on par with Uncle Julios, Guapos, or Mi Rancho. First impressions are everything, and I will not be returning.

I’d like try to keep it as short as possible! But you know, a 5 stars restaurant cannot be described with mere sentences. Anyway! This is a diamond in Gaithersburg! From the service to the food! Welcoming staff! Extremely friendly! The restaurant is extremely clean but i chose to sit outside to enjoy the sun! Margarita is flawless! The virgin version as well! I had the famous Seviché! Wow! It was my first time but its definitely not my last! The kids had some chicken and rice that comes with broccoli and carrots! My son loved it! The quality and flavor of the food was as great as the service! Our server could speak French!!!! Trilingual server? Where do you find that? I mean! I loved the place a lot! Its the best impromptu choice I ever had in Gaithersburg!

This is a neighborhood gem. It’s chef owned, so it’s not like the many other latin restaurants in the area. They have excellent food including authentic foods, the standards in America (fajitas), and not-so latin foods (salmon with salad and asparagus). It’s a real crowd pleaser, and it’s very nice inside. Outdoor seating as well.
