Great place to sit and grab some quick BBQ and relax. We have been here three times and each time the food was tasty and the portions good for the price. The pulled pork and brisket are particularly good, especially with the sauces they have at each table. We also recommend the corn bread.

Just stopped in for lunch and got the pulled chicken with Mac and cheese and corn bread for sides. Wow was it good. I basically live on BBQ and was not thinking a little restaurant in a strip mall would measure up to places like Bailey’s smokehouse or Finks but it did. The inside is nice and clean and they offer a seasoning bar with different salts and sauces. The thing is, I did not need any of it. The meat was fine as is. Is it pricey? Maybe for dinner and “a la carte” items but they do have good lunch specials. If you are in the area, it is worth checking out.

I was at thinking at first going to Wendys, but I thought why not try this restaurant? And when I had ordered the Woody’s Black Angus Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger, along with the Mac and Cheese, and for dessert, Banana Pudding, the hamburger had taken 15-20 minutes to prepare for a burger well done. And the burger was well done and very tasty. The mac and cheese was also delicious as well. And the banana pudding was very tasty, just like mom/grandma used to make. Now even though the restaurant has been opened for 2-3 months, the owner and the staff were very helpful and they did an extremely well done job. I will come here again in the near future.

We just finished lunch at Woody’s in Nanuet NY the portions were small and the turkey breast tender but had zero smoked flavor & temp cold. My husband’s lunch platter of beef burnt ends tasted like ham with barbeque sauce very salty …..My Granddaughter’s bacon cheeseburger with fries was not worth $10.50 but bacon was cooked very crispy as ordered. One male worker today was not friendly and didn’t respond to 2 thank yous from us ( in a row ). Ironically we were there for dinner last week and the food was awesome, portion size very good and staff friendly. This places inconsistencies cost them our future business.

Stopped in for family take-out for the 1st time. Either they are still learning or Woody’s will be out of business soon. The food was not bbq. For example, you get a plain roasted (too pink imo) chicken and you are expected to add your own sauce. The pulled pork had no sauce either, it’s add your own, completely dry. Country veggies are collard greens or canned green beans soaked in oil. Very odd. The cashier/server was working hard and was sweet though and I feel bad leaving a poor review. She was the best part of the stop, but highly unlikely I’d go back.

Got this to go on Super Bowl Sunday. Pass it often and was looking forward to trying it. Very disappointed. Ribs were dry and tasteless. Pork was unappealing. Chicken, baked beans and crinkle fries were okay. Wings looked great but the skin was flaccid and soggy. As for the overall bbq flavor, it was amusement park caliber.

Me and the family were there for the first time tonight. Ordered a bunch of different items to share. While nothing was super special, everything was good, nice selection, and reasonable prices…… Atmosphere is nice and staff super friendly and helpful (which is rare nowadays). 5 stars for the whole package…… we’ll be back for sure.

This place is really fairly awful. I got the ribs which tasted like the premare ribs from the refrigerator department at the supermarket. Skimpy ribs with no smoked flavor smothered in gross sauce. The sides suck too. Even the texas toast is a gross burnt mess. Do yourself a favor and go to Wendys in the same lot.

Staff was friendly. Sides were decent. Brisket came out cold so I was bummed. Southern Sweet sauce was probably the best thing I tried, but I didn’t attempt the seasonings.

Worst brisket I’ve ever had, no smoke flavor. The bbq beans saved it from being a 1 star meal. What bbq spot doesn’t smell like smoke, should have been a dead giveaway. Staff was friendly.
