I don’t know why this place isn’t packed!! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sammy’s Burgers and Shakes, and I was very impressed with the food. I started with the Cowboy Burger, which is a half-pound beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, grilled onions, and barbecue sauce. The burger was cooked perfectly and was very juicy and flavorful. The bacon was crispy and added a nice touch of smokiness. The grilled onions were also cooked perfectly and were sweet and caramelized. The barbecue sauce was tangy and sweet, and it really brought all the flavors of the burger together.

First time here, had the daily special. All I knew is it had siratcha and spicy cheetos. Was a bit worried it would be spicy, but the BBQ sauce tamed it. Ate the whole thing, was delicious, flavorful and crunchy. Probably my favorite burger I’ve had in awhile.. Can I custom order this again?

Recently moved to a new house in the area. During the move, we decided we needed a break and took the family. We loved the atmosphere the moment we pulled up. Menu had everything you’d want from a burger joint and more. The owner (super friendly and accommodating) was in and took our order, Everyone got different items and loved every bite! All of us were in agreement before we finished our meal, that this was our new favorite local spot and would become regulars!!! We have already been back a handful of times in the few weeks since, and every visit, the food was hot, fresh, and just as good as our first visit. We look forward to hanging out during one of the weekend movie nights that we found out about during one of our visits!

Absolutely love the food here! I swear I’m here every other day. Fries are AMAZING. Don’t neglect yourself to stop here and try the food. You seriously can’t beat the prices. This isn’t no mcdonald’s burger patty, this is freshly cooked and served hot to you 🙂

After a long drive, and still more to go before reaching our hotel, we saw this place on the side of the highway and took a chance. Very low key place. Part drive-in, part outdoor seating. Food was great, not as greasy as many places like it. Prices were great. Milkshakes were amazing… we appreciated being able to make our own flavors.

OPEN 24 HOURS! Flat prices and one size for a lot of things like the shakes and fries. Burgers with a bit of grease, just like you want when looking for a classic diner burger. However, I come here for the shakes. They claim to be lactose free and are very fruity! I would say they are lactose free for the most part, but make sure to ask for no whipped cream!

I don’t like to give bad reviews, and rarely do so, but I felt the need to warn others, to spare them the disappointment and potential foodborn illness. I was hopeful when arriving, and starving. My husband, myself and 2 of our kids felt the menu and prices looked great and love old school burger joints.
