I have been to this place a few times but this is my first review. When I arrived I was greeted by a nice young lady. I ordered the vegan ramen and she said it would take about 5 to 10 minutes. It came to about $19 with the drinks I bought because I bought several. It only took about 5 minutes for the food to be done. When I was able to eat it was good. The flavor changed a bit since the last time I was there. A little salt would’ve been good but still tasty. All in all I had a good experience and will return.

Amazing Korean food! Staff was very friendly and walked me through the menu. A lot of options for customization. I got the number 1 b-bop bowl and the beef was flavorful and tender. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys Asian food!

My family stopped by for a quick lunch. We don’t live in the area and picked this place because we were craving for korean food. This little restaurant and shop has some korean menu and korean snacks & drinks.

I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Amazing authentic food, always fresh, well priced. Kind staff at the counter. Owners should be proud!

I was feeling like venturing out for some exotic cuisine today and I decided to try Seoul Food in Parsippany. My first impression of this rice bowl cafe was that is was very clean! Yay, big points already! The style and decor is stark minimalist, which may come off as “cold” to some, especially in this Western world, where many instinctively worship all that is “extra.” This restaurant may be a cool cultural crash course in embracing the “living with less” philosophy, which allows us to truly savor what is in front of us. The noise level is very low…again (and believe me, I am an animated person who likes to belly laugh haha) this can come off as “serious” or stuffy, and some folks may not be comfortable with it, but it was refreshing to visit an eatery where I could hear myself think. There are Korean snacks and a grab-and-go section to the side. The walls are simply adorned- color photos of the different dishes are hung, and little potted plants sit peacefully, much like the patrons 🙂 The employees are very friendly and the service is quick. I think a rice bowl meal under for under $10 ain’t too shabby! I ordered the D-Bop (Bop is Korean for “rice”) or Dak Bokem- thin slices of boneless chicken marinated in Korean teriyaki marinade and sautéed with cabbage, onions and carrots. The meal was still hot when I got back to the office! They give you chopsticks (or a fork if you’re not inclined to using the wood tools lol) which is always cool in my book. I thought the flavor of the dish was good but I would have liked a little more veggies. The chicken slices weren’t very thin but the meat was cooked well. The portion size was perfect. I want to give this place another shot to blow my tastebuds out of the water, so I’ll be back. The excellent service compensated for the food, which, at this stage is just ok. I am looking forward to trying other dishes, as well as their soups, bubbles teas, and kitchen specials. All in all, a nice experience!

I was so disappointed about the ramen. I have never been served instant ramen before. In addition, there were 2 miniature florets of broccoli, a couple pieces of mushroom and a shaving of carrots in the soup for $8 (not worth the price). The wings were not bad. Everything was prepared fairly quickly. When I get Korean BBQ wings at other places, they make it fresh as the order comes in and usually take at least 20 minutes to make.

I stopped in here for lunch and had the #3 Ssam bop and my sister had the soy ramen. They were both delicious and service was prompt and courteous. Thank you!

This place is awesome. The food is super fresh, delicious and fast! The staff is always so nice and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and very clean. HIGHLY recommend, especially if you’re looking for a healthier lunch option (photo is of the Bibim Bop).
