Good barbecue at a decent price. I had the pork plate. It comes with a good amount of chopped pork (even for a big guy like me) and two sides (I chose the cole show and baked beans… both were good, but nothing spectacular). With a drink, it was less than $10. The pork had a good flavor, but the guy was a little heavy-handed with the sauce (my only complaint).

I recently visited here while on a road trip, and let’s just say I deeply regret that decision. The building was small and cramped, and the tables were very close together, which made sitting near other people uncomfortable. The roof and floor, and for that matter everything else, was dirty and downright disgusting. The service was slow, and the old man behind the counter was grumpy and frankly uncomfortable. The food itself was below average, with the fries tasting like Styrofoam. Literally the only redeeming quality was that the sweet tea was pretty good.

Ribs are great, pork chop is good, a little dry sometimes. Cold slaw is plain but good Chicken and fish were terrible. Sauce is really good. Been there several times, it’s a good place for lunch if you know what to order.

Average good BBQ I guess. I walked into an empty restaurant at 1pm on a Thursday and stood around for 5 minutes before I realized the guy was asleep in a chair behind a side counter. I got my plate to go and it was overdosed with vinegar sauce. Eh…it was okay Que. The beans were the best thing on the plate.

Based on the sign…Best BBQ my daughter graduated from GPSTC 6/19/15 and a group of us about 8 went in at 12:30 and dropped about $100. This by far was the worst BBQ restaurant I have ever eaten at, not to mention the rudest service I have ever had in a facility that claims it is the best. As noted in the previous review the beef brisket was disgusting and not to mention the bbq pork sandwiches and stew was just as awful. Save your money and look for true southern hospitality which was not offered in this restaurant.

Probably the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. It’s a vinigar based sauce which would be fine except my chopped pork was swimming in a pool of what tasted like straight vinigar. There was no discernable flavor to the meat due to the amount of vinigar. The Brunswick stew was horrible, flavor was bad and very watery.

I hesitate to leave a review as it is obvious this little old man is just trying to survive, but after being sick for 4 days after eating here, I felt I should leave a review. Did not get food poisoning, but stomach was queasy for 4 days. Food was just terrible. The stew tasted like water and the bbq sauce was straight up raw vinegar. The only thing edible was the sunbeam bread.

Not the best experience. Fries were barely luke warm and tasted old but he served them to us anyway. When I complained he said he’d have to cook some more. I said OK. duh. He should never have served them to begin with. No telling how long they’d been sitting there. Won’t go back.
