We were so hungry, after visiting ABT Electronics and its wonderful Atrium. From Google Maps, we found this KIM’S CHINESE FOOD, and we ordered Vegetable Fried Rice and Combo Chow Mein (which are crunchy noodles). The dishes were very delicious. The owner is very friendly and it feels like going to your Auntie’s place. The menu is extensive, mostly Cantonese cuisine. There is a small section of Filipino-Chinese food. The price is extremely reasonable, especially for a wealthy neighborhood. While waiting, we talked to the people who were picking up their orders, they said to us that the food is very nice. It gives the impression that it is very popular and it has been around for more than 30 years.

Ordered Beef Fried Rice and it was not good. The beef pieces were big, thick and chewy. Beef fried rice should be chopped up small pieces, this one had too big of pieces and also fatty. Never again.

I read all the reviews before I decided to write a review. I couldn’t believe that people wrote how good the food was and I thought to myself these people haven’t tasted good Cantonese/Chinese food…they should take a ride to China town and taste what good food done right taste like. I ordered delivery – the pork fried rice didn’t even look like fried rice, looked like rice in brown gravy, the beef and broccoli (broccoli was very overcooked) and there was very few pieces of beef, I don’t know if they make their own potstickers or have them ordered (not worth the money) they say you pay for what you get, not in this case you paid more and the food was not worth it.

Wouldn’t go back due to the fried rice and that’s disappointing since the fried rice is one of the main dishes when ordering Chinese takeout for me. But this is my 3rd time ordering chicken fried rice and it was not good, chicken pieces were undercooked and way too big. Gave 3 stars because salt and pepper shrimp was good and came with white rice.

I’ve ordered delivery from this place a few times now. When I first moved to Glenview, I reached out on social media asking for the best Chinese place. Hands down, everyone said Kim’s. They were right. And every single time my order was delivered in under 20 minutes. You can’t bear this place. Hot, fresh and delicious!

Pre-ordered 2.5 hours early to accommodate holiday. Was delivered poor quality warm seafood hot and sour soup, and egg rolls were filled with some sort of cold vegetable mush. Probably got the end of the day leftovers. . Had the highest rating on GH so quite disappointed.
