Was extremely disappointed. Called in advance to verify if they may have any coupons out in circulation, since I was planning to take a huge party of people for a family’s Birthday, and was shopping around and comparing prices. Came down to Bertuccis and the Sushi and Hibachi place. To Bertuccis already had a gift card, but the Sushi and Hibachi place was so much closer for everyone and a buffet. So when spoke to the Manager four times on different times through out the day, she stated there was no coupons out but she would give me special for dinner for $10 per person with soda included, and $4.99 for children. I didn’t think twice and agreed to it since the dinner was $11.99 per person not including the soda. But once we all got there, she than told me that she can’t do that special, (even though I spoke to her 4 times), and that she thought I meant lunch. Informed her that if she thought it was for lunch than it’s no favorer/special she’s making because lunch is $7.99 per person and with soda it is $10 and same for children. She stated no she cant do that. I was so embarrassed and truly wanted to leave for the moral of the story itself, but they tricked me into getting a huge party of people over, and ended up staying and paying regular price. To make things better this is what they offered me at the end of the day, coupons for next time for $8.99 per person for two people max……yea ok, sure I will be back. Plus their selection wasn’t the best. Been there many times, and noticed they are skimping on a lot of things more and more. Really bad experience, feel tricked and full of empty promises, as well as embarrassed. Bad management.
