I was really excited when we found this place but we won’t be returning. We order Vegtable Lumpia and Pancit. The lumpia was larger then I have ever seen, but that wasn’t a big deal, however I couldn’t even pick it up because it was so oily on the bottom that it just broke, it was also burnt which I didn’t notice until I turned it over so it appears they tried to hide it which doesn’t sit well with me. The pancit was so salty it made it hard to eat and also was overly oily. Ended up having to toss it and get something else for dinner.

We ordered the dinner for two which includes a very generous portion of everything on the menu. I just thought I didn’t know what I wanted before. This did not help me to eliminate as it was all very delicious. I guess it will depend what I am in the mood for. My husband is not normally fond of lumpia, but thought this was some of the best. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. The building is small, but has a very family friendly appeal and is like eating a wonderful home cooked meal. We definitely plan to return.

This place is AWESOME!!! Their pork dish is so yummy I can’t wait to go back! I think it is called humpka. It’s pork with bits of pineapple in a sweet, brown sauce served with rice. * The service is really great too! You’ll feel right at home! They are friendly at Bern’s and the food comes out fast each time that I come there! <<>> I’m so happy to have found this place!!!

Hands down some of the most flavorful food I have ever eaten. This place is a hidden gem. I’ve passed by it many times and I never noticed it. I’m glad that I noticed it today. We got the chicken adobo and the Pancit Bihon. Delicious! The only thing that was missing was the lumpia that I ordered. I have to admit that I was a little bit bummed about that but I will be back. The food was great.
