Nasty looking from outward appearance. Overgrown crabgrass and unkept parking lot maintenance make this fast food establishment appear deserted. The drive-thru is confusing. You order in one window and drive around the building to another window. Have the same person take your money. The food is fresh, cooked, and delicious. The prices are high. One plate of chicken and shrimp was $15. It was full of rice carrots and other vegetables. I would eat here again but will look at the sanitation grade and offer my suggestion to clean the place up.

It says it right there in the name, it’s express Japanese food. Like drive through hibachi, without the show. Don’t go there for sushi. Get the hibachi or specials. It’s a little weird to order in the drive through, you order on one side, pick up on the other, but they both look exactly the same. Lots of food for the price.

Good value and great service for takeout. Skip the dining room. Never had the hibachi. Cucumber salad is a refreshing yummy treat and sushi offerings are pretty good. Sushi rice is great!

First time ordering here. I placed order online and drove over to pick it up. You can only pick up the food in the drive through line. The restaurant doesn’t allow anyone inside for dining or picking up food. The food was warm and order was correct. The vegetable spring roll, shrimp spring roll, and crab rangoon wasn’t as flavorful as I’ve had at other places. The hibachi salmon and shrimp with steamed rice was good.

I’m sorry, but I knew what I was getting myself into and just wanted to get something different in the area but it fell completely short. Starting with the rice which felt like plain white rice and not something like sushi rice that I would expect from a hibachi restaurant. The seasoning was pretty bland and it was just overall not good. I won’t be eating here again.

I’m so impressed with this restaurant! I love trying new hibachi places & have always wondered about this place as I pass by it everyday…. I decided to give it a try and I am so happy that I did. I think I found my new favorite spot! If you know about white sauce you know it can make or break a meal & this place has the best! Bonus points for having a drive thru 12/20

Compared to other Hibachi meals I’ve tried in Durham (i.e. Sushi love), I have to say this place is far better. For the price, you’re not only getting more, but the quality of the ingredients were also much better (veggies especially). Fried rice was the only thing that was a miss as the rice was a little too dry (and bland) for my taste. Otherwise, I am glad that I got to try this place.

From the outside you might be a little worried about what your getting yourself into but don’t! It’s seriously mine and my husband’s favorite hibachi in the Triangle! Highly recommend getting the hibachi chicken. They are also really quick and friendly!
