Let me introduce you to one of the coolest pool bars at the Lake of the Ozarks. Doesn’t spending time in a pool with a view of the beautiful lake while sipping on cocktails and enjoying delicious food sound like a great way to spend the day?? Swim inside of the cave or hang out by one of the pool bars at The Cave…totally up to you! The Cave is one of the few pool bars at the Lake of the Ozarks that allow kids to also swim. Although kids are allowed, there is a section in the pool that is for adults only. The food menu is spectacular! From fried calamari, to loaded sandwiches, baskets of fries, tasty pizza, to creamy mac & cheese, there are plenty of options to keep you full and happy. Add The Cave to your bucket list before the summer ends!

Stood for 10 min before being told to sit anywhere. Another 5 min to get a waiter and menu. Placed order and drinks were wrong. After 15-20 min the waiter came to us at the pool table and said it would be 45min for our food and asked if we wanted to wait or go “somewhere else, they could get u fed faster.” Who says that to their customers? Apparently the waiter we had this day. Poor first time experience.

Good food and excellent service. We had a large gathering of about 20 people. We called ahead and they were able to accommodate us. There is a pen with goats adjacent too the restaurant. The smell did not bother me, but others might not like it. The kiddos enjoyed feeding and petting the goats.

It literally could not be any worse. Salsa was pace out of the can same with queso. They literally just opened cans and put it in a bowl. Burgers were the same. They claimed to be the best burgers around but buffalo wild wings beats them by miles. Service was also terrible. The servers had their own table at the patio with everyone else and were eating, drinking and smoking while taking tables right next to them. This place is truly a joke. Like it’s sad the potential that’s here under the tight ownership. But this place needs to be shut down like yesterday. And for canned salsa a gross burger and salad out of the bag it was over 20 dollars per person. This place is a joke.

I was very much looking forward to visiting The Cave, Bar, and Grill! My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed! Our waitress was Sarah (I believe this was her name (6/12/23) ) She greeted us right away as we walked towards The Cave. She treated us with kindness and great service the entire time.

Cool little bar/grill. Cut into the side if the mountain. Not something you see every day. Add it to the trip for lunch.

Food Poisoning! 5/5 people in our party have had nausea, vomiting and others. Looking through reviews this appears to be a regular occurrence. Very interesting place! The cave is awesome with the setup and lights, it is really one of a kind in that regard. If you can bear the sickness after the experience, I’m sure they would be happy to have you! Given all the food poisoning cases lately, I will be reporting to health department. Lastly, very expensive for the quality of food; avoid the burgers.

Floor was wet, smelled musty inside, table was sticky, didn’t look very clean inside, walking to restroom there was smoke coming from the kitchen. It looked and smelled like they were using old oil to deep fry, but the food was pretty good, except the pizza crust was so thin that it fell apart when picked up. Hadn’t been for a few years, but back then, it was much lighter inside, clean, and had a nice atmosphere. It was pretty expensive for 4 people.

The food was so good!! Inside of restaurant is in the cave, its small but such neat environment… Caution sign on wet floor and table/ seats were wet/from moisture in the cave. Also has a fenced area of alot of goats you can pet and feed before entrance. There is a reason which is another interesting story about the owner…self-sufficient (prepper) when economy collapses and live off the grid.
