Hot pot is a Chinese cooking method, prepared with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining table, containing a variety of East Asian foodstuffs and ingredients. While the hot pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table. Typical hot pot dishes include thinly sliced meat, leaf vegetables, mushrooms, wontons, egg dumplings, tofu, and seafood. The cooked food is usually eaten with a dipping sauce.

Yum Yum Yum! Great for birthdays (birthday boy eats free)! All you can eat sushi or hot pot; I got the sushi. Had a little bit of everything; made the $30.99 worth it. Godzilla Roll was definitely my favorite, California was reliable as always. Atmosphere was nice. Not too much but also enough to know you were at an all you can eat sushi place. Service was someone to take the order and a robot. Took awhile to bring water refills. The four of us (with one free because of his birthday) paid $103.

Such a fun experience! I came today with some friends at 2pm for the lunch menu, and it was pretty empty so we got really attentive service. But last time I came at dinner time and it was very crowded, so the plates would take a while to get to us.

The service was efficient with the help of a robot delivering food. Casual atmosphere. Great hotpot. The prices were amazing, especially for lunch. We certainly got a big bang for the bucks.

LaTao is a great hotpot option in College Park. It has a huge menu with tons of options. It is also vegetarian friendly which I was very grateful for. As soon as I let the staff know that I was vegetarian they immediately directed us to a table that had space for separate, individual pots so there would be no cross contamination. Amazing experience with polite staff. Highly recommend bringing cash if you plan on dining here, they offer a discount if you pay cash.

Ate here with my family recently, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food for all you can eat. Had the unlimited hot pot and sushi for $36. Sushi was surprisingly decent, and worth the extra $5 on top of the unlimited hot pot. All of the meat was very good, especially the lamb. Highly recommend.

While I loved the concept, the food left so much to be desired. I love the hot pot idea, this was my first experience. The place was cute, the staff was nice. The food was not great. It seems as though they procured the lowest quality food to put in the hot pot and I wasn’t even sure the sushi was real meat. I will try the hot pot at another restaurant to compare. At the price point, I just wasn’t impressed.

Went for hotpot lunch. Price was $20.99 per person for all you can eat. We did the mushroom and Sichuan spicy soup base (with a divider in the middle of the pot), and it was good. You can tell them to make it less spicy. Some of the items are for dinner only but you still have a lot to choose from – much more than many other hotpot restaurants. Some of the sliced meats are not the best to my taste. The little robot for delivering orders was cute.

It’s really a good hot pot place in DMV. I’m a duo pot lover. The sauce here tastes decent. I saw the one star comment. But as a northern Chinese, we don’t really care about the attitude of waiters. Come on, you come here for hot pot not for becoming a big daddy of someone else. LoL. I guess that’s a culture thing. I personally don’t like nonsense from waiters. Just bring me food and leave me alone.
