A great find in Beatty, which is 45 minutes from Vegas. Inside and out, the place was clean and well kept. The dining patio is very nice, but in 119° heat, we sat inside. The dining room was decorated with Americana. While it is counter service, the lady at the register was wonderful. She offered suggestions and descriptions with a smile. The prices were reasonable and very tasty. The portions were HUGE! my pulled pork sandwich had enough meat to make 2 sandwiches! I really liked the Mac and cheese and coleslaw, and the baked beans were hearty BBQ cowboy beans. I would definitely get the pulled pork and mac and cheese again.

I loved this barbecue. The most tender and juicy brisket I’ve had. The pork ribs were large and delicious. The sides and the banana pudding were pretty solid, too. On a Thursday evening it wasn’t too busy and the service was quick. The water from the fountain tasted funny though.

This is the yummy smell throughout the town!! Smoked heaven! Really busy on a Wednesday night and it was quite a wait but they really are organized with calling out your number and everything so it wasn’t very long. The restaurant itself is super cute and the outside eating area is adorable! Too cold when we went but if it was warmer outside we would have stayed. The pulled pork was just fabulous!

This place is a diamond in the rough. The food was phenomenal! We had the Jalapeno Mac & Cheese with Pulled Pork, Ribs and Brisket. I’m telling you, this was by far the best BBQ meat joint I’ve ever been too. The restaurant looked a bit drab, if only they revamped it a bit with some booth seating inside, TVs and more American fare knick nacks – by no means a criticism but this place would really rock if it had a bit more of a ‘stay and have another drink’ vibe.

We took a chance and stopped here while passing through Beatty, Nevada. So glad we did! All the food was beyond fantastic. The brisket was to die for, the coleslaw was some of the best I’ve ever tasted in a restaurant, and the jalapeño mac & cheese was so rich and creamy. The food was hot and plenty of it! We really enjoyed the experience and we’ll be back again!

It’s 5pm on a Sunday after slogging through a hot, dry, windy Death Valley. I needed salt and some BBQ sauce with which to wash it down. It’s called self care, folks. The pulled pork sammy has all of the qualities of a Grade A meal. The patio has a nice quiet breeze and a ton of shade this time of day. I’m starting to wish I’d bought a beer just so I could sit here longer and enjoy the ambiance. I suppose it is possible that you could regret stopping here, but the odds of that are worse than the odds of surviving a one-on-one fight between the Millennium Falcon and an Imperial Star Destroyer. 10/10 can’t wait to eat here again. (Get the banana pudding and share it with a friend. The sandwich + pudding was great, but my tummy is a little bit too full now…)
