We thought this would be a good choice. Some of us wanted chicken, some wanted fish. We were wrong. 5:30pm very few customers. Floor was a sticky mess from entrance to restrooms. Drink station looked like it had not been cleaned up for days. Husband said his original chicken tasted OK. The fries & fish tasted like old grease. Very disappointed in this location.

Just passing thru driving a 1,400 mile round trip. We were road weary and hungry. Our server was very polite and friendly and was very knowledgeable of the menu and extremely helpful in choosing substitute sides for our combo meals!

After the last three times eating at the Mt. Vernon Long Johns, I have decided to write a review. Going to make this simple. The absolute worst food I have ever eaten. It was pitiful. Not sure how they keep the place open. If you read my review and eat there anyway, it’s not without warning.

I have to say I am not usually impressed at this location by the service but tonight was so good I had to say something. First up I said what I wanted and the lady over the intercom set me up perfectly and the young man at the window was kind and courteous checking to make sure I had everything I needed. The whole experience was pleasant fast and efficient while the meal was perfectly cooked.
