It’s connected to another restaurant called Old bag of nails. It’s just a name. It’s not a club where you join. You can either sit in the old bag of nails restaurant and get pizza or you can sit on that side and get pizza.

Rumor has it the owner baked versions of their crust for 90 days until they got it right. Now I easily could have just started that soon to be urban legend BUT I did hear it and it tastes like that story could be true! This place is a must if you consider urself a pizza connoisseur. I would compare their Midwest crust to Tommy’s as their New York style crust is thicker. It’s good! Every bit as good as Tommy’s is being said as a compliment.

They do two styles of crust, New York Thin (big pie slices) and Mid-West Cracker (small square cut). Have had both but prefer the cracker crust. Very crunchy straight out of the oven. Similar style to that other place here in UA on Lane that everyone seems to think is the best pizza ever. Give ’em a try!

Awesome pizza in upper Arlington, they have two styles of pizza, New York and Midwest style. Both were very good but the Midwest cracker style crust is simply the best. They also have a dinning room if you prefer to dine in and it’s connected to the old bag of nails so it’s easy to grab a drink from the bar.

We tried a NY Style viggie pizza and it was loaded with fresh vegetables! Even on a busy Friday evening, the pizza came out quickly. Staff was polite, they cleared tables quickly, and answered all of the questions we had. Can’t wait to go back and try a different combo of toppings!

We have pizza from different pizzerias around Columbus every week, and this has quickly become one of our favorites. We’ve tried both the Midwest and the New York style and both were excellent. Great crust, sauce, cheese and fresh toppings. So glad to have this addition to Upper Arlington!
