There were long lines and a longer wait. Which my mom told me once…”Long lines mean fresh meat and that’s must be a good spot to eat.” I had a Mulita de Asada and Carne asada tacos. Very similar taste to TJ tacos.

FYI, THERE IS A $0.50 CHARGE FOR USING CREDIT AND/OR DEBIT! we stopped by on a random thursday night about 45 minutes before they closed and were met with pretty straight forward service you’d expect at a taco place. the meat was generally good and i think we would return again but i’d like to give them another shot.

So I came to get their birra plate I was very disappointed. The birra was dry with no consome just the meat. Had no flavor. I threw the plate away. Never coming back again. It wasn’t a real birra plate. Just dry meat I had to pour hot sauce.

I’d rate them minus -⭐s if I could. Ridiculously expensive and my torta de adobada was flavorless. My son and husband had the tacos de asada which were good however the guacamole they put was disgusting. Quesadilla my little one got was lacking cheese, they most definitely were stingy with cheese. Too bad my son spent too much in this spot. I do not recommend this place at all. Very disappointed. Tacos $3 each. Tortas $9 Quesadilla $8

They ran out of guacamole when we visited and said they were not making anymore. They overcharged me as well. I ordered one quesadilla and they charged me for 3. I also ordered a chicken taco and they did not give it to us. We had to go back a few times. Maybe we will try it again but this was not a pleasant experience. I really can’t recommend the tacos because we did not have them as advertised.

I kept seeing this place on social media and was excited to try it and let me tell you I was not impressed. The meat had no flavor whatsoever, sure it was a decent amount of meat for the birria tacos, but neither the birria nor the carne asada had any flavor. The only saving grace was the salsa, which was unfortunate, I love tacos and sadly I did not get to fulfill my craving today with these tacos and torta :/

We stumbled upon this gem last night while driving by. We say “Tijuana Tacos” and a massive line.

This place is amazing…the service is also over the top…I wanted real LA tacos, real pastor not the fake stuff…I’m from AZ and came here…the packed it to go and I had my fiance taste real pastor and carne asada for the first time and he finally got what I missed from LA and these tacos were better then what I remembered from LA. The girl working there put everything on ice and hooked me up…ty so much for giving us both such a great experience 🙂 we will be back

Had the chance to check out @carlos_tijuanatacos in Whittier. Got me asada tacos and a mulita. Hand made tortillas, nicely grilled meat with a cold coke. Come check them out. #tacos #whittier #LA #asada #coke #eats #blog #mulitas
