The bacon double cheeseburger was very delicious. Has a lot of mayo though for any of you that don’t like a lot. Great portion and the burger looks like the picture which is a rare thing compared to some places that show you a big fluffy burger only to bring something that looks like someone sat on it.

When the other Long John Silver closed, I started coming here. It’s a longer drive for me, but the same good food, good service, and pleasant atmosphere that makes you want to stay and relax. I always have the 3 piece chicken planks (which ARE planks compared to some other chicken restaurants) with coleslaw, fries, and hushpuppies. LJS is the only place that makes cloeslaw how my mother used to make it. Yumm… Their malt vinegar is deliciously addictive and probably the main reason I like to go there.

I have never eaten at an A&W restaurant before and I was excited to try it with my son as part of our summer fun before school starts again. Unfortunately, the employees were so rude to me as I was trying to place my order that I did not try the food. I was so shocked at how disrespectful they were that I didn’t even know what to say. I just drove away without finishing my order. I therefore can’t comment on the taste or the quality of the food. We ended up eating at Order Up across town, where the teenagers who work there are polite and helpful. It was a reminder that there are still good kids in the world, just not at this A&W.
